MISSING. Please be on the lookout for Cinders. She came back from foster to the Sanctuary and dug under the fence. She is missing from 3546 East Mitchell Road Liberty Indiana. UPDATE: SHE HAS BEEN FOUND!!!! Thank you so very much to Lora and her family for finding her and keeping her safe from the storm.
Missing dog. Cassidy is a 3 legged black lab mix with a pink collar. She just arrived at the Sanctuary and has hopped the fence. Please call 765-969-4782 if you find her. She is very friendly. Went missing from 3546 East Mitchell road Liberty Indiana. She was originally from the Fayette county area.

UPDATE! A big thank you to the kind family that put their holiday on hold after finding our sweet Holly. They met up with us to get her back safe at the Sanctuary.

HELP!!!! Holly was on her way to her new home when she got away from her new family in Miamisburg Ohio. She still has her leash. Please be on the lookout and share this post.

Thank you for joining in on Liberty Acres first online auction. We will be taking bids from October 1st at 6pm until October 10th at 7pm. All final bids must be in by 7pm on October 10th. To place your bid click on the photo of the item and type in your bid. Bids must be in at least one dollar increments. Winners will be contacted on Facebook messenger. Payment can be made via paypal, card, check or cash when you pick up. If you require the item be shipped to you the shipping will be at your cost. Items can be picked up at the Sanctuary by appointment.You can also pick up during our Richmond Petvalu adoption day on October 27th. (We will be adding some to the auction later this week also)

**Excuses why Brutus and Georgie Boy may not get adopted.

1. They are both 15 years old

2. They are in treatment for a skin issue

3. Brutus is a large dark brindle dog with a skin growth on his lower jaw

4. Georgie Boy has a crinkled ear from chronic ear infections

5. They both may have some Pit Bull in them, but in truth they are just big mutt dogs

6. They are a bonded pair of brothers and must be adopted together

**Reasons why Liberty Acres United Rescue Animal Sanctuary thinks they deserve a chance to find a family

1. They dedicated their life to someone for 15 years only to be tossed out at a kill shelter like those years didn’t matter. We at Liberty Acres know different.

2. Their skin will heal with time, medication and love.

3. Though large dark colored dogs take longer to place we are willing to give them the time they need.

4. Nobody is perfect, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is our imperfections that show our true spirit.

5. No dog should be judged on their breeding, but on their character and heart.

6. The love that brothers share should be celebrated not shunned. What could be better than one sweet loveable old dog? Two of course.

Sweet Patty is waiting on a home. She came to us skin and bones, very sick and had a bunch of babies to try to take care of. She did her best,but despite her efforts it was too late to save 5 of the babies. She is very deserving of a good home. She is a very loving girl but also high energy. She needs an owner who has a little bit of experience with dogs. The biggest problem she has is getting too excited meeting people and jumping on them. That is something that can be trained and stopped. Patty has a sponsor willing to pay 100$ towards a training class for her and her new owners. She is okay with other dogs as long as they can handle her energy. She has played with all my dogs and does fine. Her adoption fee has been paid for, so with an approved application the fee is paid.
