Here's Mr thunder the imported mustang in for 30 days. Let me tell ya he's a danged tank! He's here for miles and to get his round self in a little better shape!
Miss Angel in the big pen doing fantastic!! This poor not so little mare started as quite the headache but is sure enough turned into a cool one!!!
Me and Miss Angel out and about enjoying the scenes the other day! Boy this mare is really getting it together!!
Well I guess if you post a video on here and switch accounts it doesn't post 😬! But here's Miss Angel out here doing really really good! Driving on her own free will!! Pretty proud of miss priss!
Miss Angel has finally turned over a new leaf! She's been here for just now a month. It was a little slow going at the start due to some very spoiled and some attitude issues. In the beginning we'd worked lots of ground work and ground driving. In the last week she got introduced to the cart and to the full harness as far as tugs and breaks. Her confidence has gone through the roof out of the blue and her foundation is as strong as her old attitude!

You gotta love the natural mind and willingness to please some horses have! This sucker was untouched and never seen a human 2 weeks ago and never worked with until today! He's gonna be a Blast!
Well Miss Angel got introduced to the harness tonight! She'll be headed down the road in no time!!
Here's the little 2 year old buddy getting around really well! He showed up with baby brain big time and some maturing to do. After some extensive ground driving/ work this is where we're at today walk trot with no issues and really starting to get the feel for things!
This horse here is a prime example of why "cowboy'n" horses doesn't always work! If you'd try and push him he'd take 10 steps back everytime. He showed up scared to death of everything and riding him outside he was a ticking time bomb. You'd never dream of putting a leg into him unless you wanted a runaway! He could've swarn the dog was a Velossa raptor and you wouldn't dream of catching him without running him into a stall! Now we're here and he can be caught MOST of the time in the wide open pasture!
Yall meet Remi shes a little quarter pony with the typical pony qualities! She's here for a couple weeks to get some quirks sorted out and to get a little more responsive! Me and her had a little conversation today after she decided to buck for a few and I'd like to say she's going to be just fine!
The saying slow is fast definitely holds some truth with this fella! He showed up with only being able to get ahold of him in a catch pen. Now we're here and riding around pretty well too! Those problem cases are pretty fun when you take the time needed to get through to them and to gain trust! Like grandpa used to say some horses just need a buddy! I hear his voice more often than not working this little fireball!
Well Mr. Flint Stone went home today with a very happy momma! This was us out enjoying the sights yesterday morning. This big guy was a complete blast to play with! Thank you Kim Fields Stone for trusting me with your boy!
Some of those ornery ponies need a soft touch to really get through to them! Horsemanship is knowing what touch is called for at the time. Sometimes we forget that we're not in a race and need to take notes from a 9 year old or revert back to those soft words of grandpa.
