African greys are native to equatorial Africa and are considered one of the smartest avian pet in the world. Factually, in reference to Dr. Irene Pepperberg, founder of thealexfoundation and current lecturer at Havard University, the African grey has the intellect and cognitive abilities proportionate to that of your 4-year old kid.

Notably, African grey has two subspecies; the Congo African Grey and the Timneh African Grey. Now, how can you differentiate them? Apparently, the Congo African Grey is a bit larger with lighter coloring. The Timneh African Grey is smaller and darker in color. So, in the above photo, can you now differentiate them?
