Proper irrigation is Key, during the summer more than ever!
Here are some Dos and Don'ts for summer watering:

✅️ Do Irrigate every other day to .5” with temps trending close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
✅️ Do irrigate between 3a-8a.
✅️Do run a quick cycle on the days you’re not irrigating early in the morning to rinse guttation from leaf tissue to lessen disease pressure.
✅️Do inquire about wetting agents/soil surfactants to make irrigation more efficient.
❌️Don’t irrigate late afternoon/early evening.
❌️Don’t irrigate to the point of ponding or run off.
❌️Don’t irrigate if you have received adequate rainfall - too much moisture in the soil will deprive turf of needed oxygen.
❌️Don’t irrigate mid day, wind/sunlight will cause water to evaporate prior to having an opportunity to pe*****te the soil profile.
