Suzanne Hoerner Jackson Equestrian Center at Earlham College. We have opening for new riders ages 3+. From beginners to advanced all are welcome. Individual lessons available by request.

Counselor fly in at the barn!

This is Earlham’s 4th Counselor Fly-In and the barn was excited to be apart of it again! Everyone who came out got a tour of the barn as well as the chance to groom and ride some horses! We had such a fun time getting to meet everyone and hope to continue to be apart of the fun in the future!

Fall Fun Show!🍁

Our first ever Fall Fun Show was a huge success! We had tons of fun jumping, dressing up and playing around during the fun classes! We wanted to give a really big thank you to for sponsoring our 1st and 2nd place prizes with gift cards and for everyone who came out to watch and participate! And another big thank you to the students as this couldn’t have been possible without all the support and hard work we have from them! We hope to do more shows in the future and hope you see you all there again!

Our Fall Fun Show is tomorrow!
It is going to be perfect horse show weather!

We have Dover Saddlery gift cards and other fun prizes to our first and second place exhibitors! Come jump, play around with gymkhana, or dress your horse up for the costume class!

No show clothes required, we are a fun and low-stress atmosphere, come join us tomorrow!

Cost:
$500 a month

Facility:
12x12 matted stalls
Trailer parking for no extra charge (limited space)
Large indoor arena with Trutex fiber footing
Jump standards and poles available for use
4 large pastures
Pastures have a small dry lot at the front
Temperature controlled tack room
Wash stall (with two crossties)
2 temperature controlled bathrooms

Horse care:
We feed tribute grain
Owner can provide their own grain and supplements, which we will feed for no extra charge
We feed hay and grain 1-2 times a day (depending on horses needs)
We feed grass and mixed hay
Round bales feed as needed during winter
Stalls are cleaned twice daily
We will do blanketing for no extra charge (twice daily)
We have a farrier owners are welcome to use, or they can use their own
If owner uses their own farrier they are required to be there when the farrier comes
Staff will hold horses for our farrier
We also have a vet who owners are able to schedule with
If owners use their own vet they are required to be there with the vet

Riding:
Access to Earlham College’s trails
Trainers on sight for lessons (Hunters, jumpers, dressage, western)
Owners are also allowed to use their own insured trainers

We are looking to part with some equipment - reasonable offers entertained. You must pickup here in Richmond.

6' Rotary arena drag, 3 point hitch in great usable condition

6 freeze resistant livestock sun tanks. Solar heated bottoms prevent freezing and have a float on top to keep water clean and free of debris. All but one are in great shape, one has cracked front plexiglass. Perfect for keeping water out where you don't have electricity during the winter months.
