Its amazing to see the difference in these 3 already in just one month of them being here with me. In growth, handleability, and how they take food from hunting the crickets, to tong feeding, and having them eat from my hands and fingers (that part is still a work in progress). This trio never ceases to amaze me 🤩 im in still over the moon excited to work with these guys, and when they are fully mature be able to breed them.

Can't express this enough. Working with this trio is amazing!!! So far, I have accomplished handleability with them.
I Have been working with tong feeding, and all 3 have successfully taken superworms from the tongs without one issue tonight!! The growth with these guys is truly amazing!

I haven't shown an update on these guys in a while. The standing day gecko project is moving along perfectly!! I'm still rocking with the 2 adults, and the 2 not so much babies anymore! only got a picture of one of the little ones as the other was barried and started to show signs of stress. Don't want any tail drops on these guys.
I am still so beyond excited and happy to be working with these such amazing species of day geckos and looking forward to being a part of bringing their popularity up in the Pacific Northwest

I am beyond excited for this opportunity that landed here at Black Market Reptile's. I got my hands on a trio of baby Cuban Knight Anoles (Anolis equestris), 2 beautiful females and one amazing looks male. Heres to a amazing new journey for next year working with these 3.

Picture attached was as I was getting them ready to be placed into their new home so they where a little stressed from the truck drive and the movement.

More pictures to come to show off their colors, currently they are getting settled into their new enclosure.

We unfortunately have decided to announce that we are being heavily set back on our plans to produce beautiful crested geckos due to an unexpected and undetectable issue with our custom enclosures, that we had earlier purchased in an endeavor to support another small business. In the events of what happened (which we will not be disclosing, along with the other business' name) we have lost our only female harlequin crested gecko, Yoshi, who we were expecting baby cresties from. We learned a hard lesson about trust through this, but humbly will be moving forward with making sure the issue is rectified and preparing for a regroup our ducks for PACNWRS in July. We appreciate everyone's support! 💚

Big news!!!! We were incredibly lucky this weekend at Pacific Northwest Reptile and Exotic Animal Show in Hillsboro, OR. We picked up some beautiful amazing reptiles for our business. Lets introduce these incredibly animals!!!
1: Harleyquin dalmatian crested gecko, (male)
2: baby harlequin crested gecko (possible female)
3: 2 beautiful, breeding pair of tokay geckos

And last but not least
4: a emerald swift

Recently we have had the privilege of being these 2 girls forever home. 2 beautiful female leopard geckos with a checkered past. Original owner did not take proper care of them. Had them both in a 20 gallon tank with a male as housing, one girl sadly lost her full tail but has made a recovery on it, their 2nd owners did a amazing job at getting them back to being healthy and happy, but unfortunately due to private circumstances they where unable to keep them and we are extremely grateful they allowed us to take them on!! Lets welcome diamond and pearl to the PNW Scale family!!

We are sorry to our followers here for the lack of posting, but unfortunately we have recently lost one of our beloved rescued male crested gecko named brown-eye, after losing him we took that chance to do a full health evaluation on all of our reptiles to make sure that they are at 100% health. Brown-eye we believe to have passed due to old age but we did rescue him about 6 months ago from a abusive situation from improper diet/lack of food, a terrible small size of a tank, and a decent amount more. In the picture posted below this was only a week after we had obtain ownership of him and had him on the proper diet. Brown-eye will be missed but he leaves behind a child named lucky. On a more positive note we do have big updates we will be posting tomorrow including some newly added friends!
