Hello everyone! It has been brought to our attention this evening that a dog who visited us last week has come down with kennel cough. In an effort to be transparent we wanted to make sure to let you all know and to share the symptoms to watch for. So far this is an isolated incident and only one dog has shown symptoms that we know of.
Any dogs in our care are not allowed to play or interact directly with each other, unless in the waiting area with their owners, and even though we disinfect kennels and surfaces between pets those pesky bugs can still spread in a grooming salon. 😢
If you notice any symptoms in your dog we always recommend a vet visit to make sure they can get the best treatment to help them feel better as soon as possible!
Legally we require all pets to be Rabies vaccinated but highly encourage all dogs to be vaccinated regularly against Bordetella anytime they are visiting anywhere other dogs are present.
If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to us! We will be spending the weekend deep cleaning and disinfecting the salon to be ready for our visitors next week!

Today the Paw Spa turns 2!! I can't begin to thank our loyal clients for a great 2 years! We have over 500 clients and 600 pets who come to see us! 🥳
A big thank you to my right hand gal Amanda for holding down the fort while I'm getting on a plane to Salt Lake City, Utah for the Teton Grooming Expo as we speak! 🐾

What a wonderful start to spring! We are so grateful to be staying busy!
May 9th will mark two years of the Paw Spa being in business! We are sad to say that we still are not able to accept new haircut dog clients but do have a new client list going in case that changes!
We also had to make the hard decision to raise our prices a bit in order to keep up with the ever increasing cost of our equipment and supplies. Starting May 1st, all haircut dog, cat shave, and shedless package prices will go up $5.00.
We appreciate all of our wonderful clients and if there are any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to us! Thank you! 🐾

Uh oh! It's skunk season! 🦨
We get many calls all year about how to tackle that horrible moment when your pups find a skunk. We just got our box of Groomer's Goop! We use this degreaser to help draw out the oils sprayed by skunks and swear by it! Stop in and grab a tub while it lasts! A little goes a long ways!

Happy Friday!
As many of you know, Amanda is scheduled for carpal tunnel surgery today! So she will be out healing for awhile. As of right now all appointments have been moved or changed as needed. Please try to be patient with me(Lilly) as I run a one man show for the upcoming weeks with extra pets on my schedule. Hi everyone! We kicked off the new year busy per usual! I have a request for some input from our awesome clients!

Transformation Tuesday of little Stella! ❤️
We will be closed Saturday 12/30 to Sunday 1/7 for some much needed R&R and salon repairs/improvements! Lilly will be occasionally checking the phones but we will not have regular hours that week. Thank you for understanding!

With winter driving approaching we just want to remind everyone that you and your pet's safety are our #1 concern! If you need to reschedule due to weather or roads we will do our best to find a place to fit you in asap. Also, our 24 hr cancelation policy does not apply and there will be no "punishments" for these cancelations. Safe driving everyone!

Happy Chilly Saturday! I'm sure many of you have heard that there is a dangerous new canine respiratory illness going around.
We have been following the progression as it develops and continue to educate ourselves as new information is released. We do our best to keep the salon sanitized and dogs separated but it is a small space.
We ask that if your pet has not been feeling well(respiratory or other symptoms) that you contact us and reschedule until they are on the mend. Hopefully then we can prevent any kind of transfer to other pets in the salon. Also we encourage all puppies to be fully vaccinated before they recieve any services in the salon. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

The illness hasn't made its way to Wisconsin, but experts warn there's a strong chance it will.

Hello Everyone! I have some requests and information for both new and existing clients!

1. Please try to give us at least a 24 hour notice for cancellations! It's very hard for us to fill appts last minute, especially in the morning.
2. I will be making the 2024 Schedule soon! If you would like to be prebooked out for the year or have specific day/time needs, I highly recommend getting in touch and having us add you to our 2024 prebook list.
3. Starting September 1st, 2023 there will be a 3% convenience fee added to all card purchases in the salon.
4. If you will need to leave your pet in our care past the 3-4 hour time frame it takes for the groom please let us know in advance to make sure we will be available. We are typically in the salon from 7:45 am to 4pm.
5. Many of you have seen Amanda in the salon, she has now found daycare and will be picking up additional days every week! This means we are slowly making our way through the new client list! Please be patient with us while we move things around and try to accommodate everyone.

Thank You for making this such a wonderful and busy year so far!
