Mission is an approx. 2 1/2 year old Mix (believed to have some Cattle Dog). He weighs around 40 lbs. Mission is very sweet and gets along with people and other dogs. He has been returned twice due to high energy. He is very willing to please and would likely excel at dog sports.

Please folks, have current identification on your pets, and microchip them. And if there is even the slightest possibility of a storm, do not leave them outside, or just don't leave them outside at all if you're not home to monitor them. And if you have a cat, make them indoor only. We adopted a cat that showed up at our house a year and a half ago. She likes being outside so we bought a "catio" for her. She loves being in there listening to, and watching the birds, relaxing, pouncing on a pretend bug, eating some cat grass. She has also learned that being inside sleeping on the sofa or nestled in the covers of the bed, playing with the dogs, walking on the countertops to sneak some food, having a bowl of fresh food always available, and a private potty area, pretty darn good. I am so tired of seeing post after post of found pets (and no one claiming them) or lost pets. Sadly, many times the outcome is not good.

The Junior World Agility Championships and the Senior World Agility Championships are July 18-21 in Belgium. You'll get to see an event for the young and talented handlers in our sport, and the mature and talented handlers. This is the first year they've had an event for the seniors, and it sounds like it won't be the last.

Cristiana Crespo (junior), who was here at our June trial, will be representing the USA with her red Border Collie Zelda.

Our Summer UKI trial was a blast!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Thank you for entering, thank you for supporting the Morningstar trials, thank you for volunteering, thank you for jumping in when needed, thank you for having fun with your dogs, thank you for not melting, and thank you for dressing up!

It was hot for sure. We typically don't have trials in the summer, and this is why. LOL! Just happened to work out better for scheduling.

Thank you to Daisy for teaching workshops and judging, especially in the heat. That was 4 days worth of being in the hot sun. Last year when she was here, we had the caterpillar invasion (an anomaly), and this year the heat. Can you guess which she preferred if she had a choice?

Thank you to Brittany!!! She has it all covered and then some, and there is no way I could do this without her. She is an amazing friend, and trial secretary extraordinaire!

We also had the pleasure of meeting Cristiana and her family. Cristiana and her red BC (I am partial to those reds) Zelda are on the Junior AKC World Team. They will compete this summer in Belgium to represent the USA. We are so excited for this wonderful young lady and her family! Once I have details on live streaming, I will share them on this page.

Amazing two days of learning at the Daisy Peel Agility Seminar June 2024! This is her 5th year here and the best yet. The loop of training - what a concept! It should go in everyone's foundation toolbox.

Now we get to practice those skills for our UKI trial that starts later today.

You can see maps, running orders, results, etc. for the FitPaws World Agility Open Championships all through the GAC app.

We will be using the GAC app again this year to provide messages and up-to-date information directly to your phone both before and during the event. You will also be able to access Live results and event documents on the app.

If you already have the app you will need to update it as we have made some changes. Please update or download it through Google Play or the App store.

WAO (World Agility Open) is getting started in the Netherlands. Dudley is competing with Tasty, and Courtney is competing with Butter. Now that is a yummy combination!

You can also pre-pay which will give you immediate VOD (video on demand), that way you don't have to stay up late to watch.
