The Rigby High School Agricultural Education department and FFA Chapter are excited to have Mr. Davis join the highschool program!

My name is Austin Davis. I grew up around agriculture and the FFA, but being born and raised in Florida meant that agriculture and the FFA looked a bit different from what we have in Idaho. I am a proud alum of the University of Florida (Go Gators) where I obtained my bachelors in Agriculture Education. After graduating, my wife and I moved to Idaho so she could attend the University of Idaho in Moscow. Once she finished law school, we relocated to Eastern Idaho and, thankfully, Mr Hale and Mr Godfrey allowed me to start teaching and advising the Agriculture program at Rigby Middle School. Having spent three wonderful years with the Rigby Ag Program, I am excited to transition to the high school program and to have the opportunity to continue working with many of you and to start working with many more students and families.

I can promise any classes with me will contain many references to the Florida gators, particularly during football season, and a lot of pictures of my two dogs: Beau and Lilly.

Rigby Middle FFA and the Rigby Agricultural Education department welcome Mrs. Raymond who will be teaching at Rigby Middle School.

I am Mindy Raymond. I am from Terreton, ID. I'm a wife and mom to 4 adventurous kids. I enjoy most things to do with ag and spending time outdoors. I am excited to start teaching in Rigby and to have the opportunity to get to know my students and their families!

Big shout out and thank you to Ms Courtney Knickrehm. She worked in our chapter and program the last three years, inspiring many students to pursue a career in Veterinary and animal science. She has been the favorite teacher for many of her students at Rigby. We wish her the best in her future endeavors.

We welcome Austin Davis to the team at the high school and Mindy Raymond at Rigby Middle school. We look forward to working with these two great teachers. Come meet them both next week at the Jefferson County Fair next week.
