Our momma to be Rylie is appropriate 9 days out and is really showing. We moved her in basement tonight not taking any chances with these cold nights. Time for her to get accustomed to our birthing pen.

Welcome to 2024 friends and followers. We here at Altizer’s Kennels are looking for a busy year. We currently have a pair together working towards our 1st litter of the year. We might even get to throw a curve ball out there to everyone, you will just have to stay tuned for it. Hoping everyone is staying warm so far this winter , dreaming of puppies playing in green grass.

Update: Our little chocolate female has been locked in with her new family. Thanks for all the intrest in her.

Hello followers, pups are now 4 weeks old and fat and playful. 2 of the 3 are locked in but we have a chocolate female still available. Departure weekend is October 14th. Please share and anyone interested just contact us.

Update, our 3 little pigs are growing like weeds. As of now chocolate pups are spoken for , black one will be decided on September 17th. Eyes are open on all 3.

Weekly update: we lost our little yellow on Monday but our three are thriving fat little rascals. Both chocolate pups ( 1 male 1 female ) are claimed from our list. Black female is in limbo currently on one of our list people but have 5 more on list if not claimed. Once we get to end of list with no takers we will announce. Eyes should be open by next weekend. Mom is doing a lot better with motherly duties now, think was such a shock to her when she had them is reason for high loss of pups.

Well it has happened without notice or hesitation. She had total of 8, 4 alive 4 dead. Dead ones look to have been born that way. We currently have 2 chocolate, 1 black and 1 yellow. We been by pen no less than 6 times today and she's been out running around instead of locked up in bed delivering. Did make sure 4 we have were a hold sucking.

5 days from due date, momma to be getting alittle plump. Next announcement will be day of delivery. 1st litter and hope all goes well. I'm predicting 6, no color guesses on my part.

Our momma to be Misty Mae (aka M&M) is under 2 weeks before delivery. I ask her how many she was having and she just laughed at me.

The weaning begins. Puppy pudding at 3 weeks once a day, 4 weeks twice a day now softened food only at 5 weeks. Let the growing begin.

Well after our 4 week old birthday and selection weekend, we are down to 4 males we still have available. All males, AKC Registered labs. They are now currently eating puppy pudding twice a day. Well 2 days old and 9 fat little pups, all sucking good and mom is doing great.
