In addition to the Colorado facility, Josh, along with his wife and partner, Jana, and their sons have since expanded to Scottsdale, AZ. Josh Lyons is a regular guest at most major horse expos including Horse World Expo, Western States Expo, Equus America, Equine Affaire, and Equitana. In 2002, Josh won the highly celebrated “In a Whisper” Challenge. In addition to developing his own equine educational products, Josh makes TV appearances and contributes articles for various horse publications. It’s a rare person whose life’s goal is to help others with their horses. Josh’s understanding of the horse’s mind coupled with the ability to bring out the best in both riders and horses is unrivaled. Eager to constantly refine and improve upon what he can offer, Josh continually strives to develop new and better training methods. Have you ever had a dog that you knew was always Happy?? That is Wren..just like her mama Liberty. She is happy-go-lucky..... loves meeting new people, she likes to jump in the chair with you around the camp fire and wags her little aussie tail to show the world her excitement! She just loves to be in the presence of her people. She runs and plays with our older dogs and other puppies and gets along well with them. She is crate trained, potty trained and doing well on leash. She also just learned to sit and we are working on patience and place command.
Wren is an AKC Mini American Shepherd Female. Ready to meet her family. She is going to stay pretty small and only be about 20 to 25 lbs. She is dainty, feminine , fun and super smart! 📣This weeks Trainers Spotlight📣
We are pretty excited for this one and his new adventure 🤩 this week is dedicated to R3 Performance Horses! Ridge is both a Certified and Accredited Lyons Legacy Trainer. Based out of Athens, TN.
Various clients and breeds ranging from Quarter Horses to Friesians to Warmbloods to Mustangs.
Main focus was starting and restarting horses. Included in the program was not only training for the horse but lessons for the owner. This created an open forum of progress, communication and advancement in the owners riding ability to take with them!
Currently, R3 is on pause as Ridge Romine has taken a position as Assistant Trainer to Matt Mills at Matt Mills Reining
We are humbled and blessed by this opportunity and can’t wait to see where it takes us in the future!

This weeks trainers spotlight is the wonderful couple behind Bulletproof Horseshoeing LLC and Bulletproof Horsemanship LLC🎉 Read below about all they have to offer the equestrian world in their new Florida Location 😍
Alexan and Tylor are both U.S. veterans. Alexan served as an Aircrewman in the Navy and Tylor was an Army Blackhawk Crew Chief. They built their own veteran-owned businesses in Colorado. Bulletproof Horsemanship LLC and Bulletproof Horseshoeing LLC grounded in their faith-driven motto: “Training horses, raising good humans, and fighting the war at home with heart.” Their work centers on personal development, resilience, and strong foundations, with their two kids involved every step of the way.
Alexan completed the Accreditation program in 2024, where her love for reining took off after years rooted in dressage. Today, both are proud Lyons Legacy Accredited and Certified trainers.
After successful careers out West, they relocated this October to pursue new opportunities and are building their Florida brand stronger than ever.
Stay tuned, they’re gearing up to roll out their show line and couldn’t be more excited. In the meantime, Alexan is offering certified equine massage and PEMF services, and Tylor is proudly serving north Florida with reliable farrier services. abd

This weeks Trainer Spotlight is one of our new graduates Michael Iver’s, owner and trainer of Ivers Ranch! 🤩 Read more about what they offer to the equine industry below!
Ivers Ranch- Equine Services and Sales is a beautiful 19 acre equestrian facility, located in Blum Texas. Which is an hour south of Fort Worth in the heart of Texas horse country. At the ranch we offer a multitude of services including horse training, sales and consignments. Our trainer Mike has completed the Lyons Legacy Certification and Accreditation horse training programs and focuses on breaking horses to ride by establishing a solid foundation and lasting partnership. Our program is geared towards the development of quality performance horses, with an emphasis on rope horses. Each year, we plan to offer for sale, a select number of riding horses, as well as young prospects from our breeding program. Our facility includes a large covered arena, stalls, a priefert walker, outdoor arena, round pen and rolling pastures. Mike has also completed farrier school and offers trimming as well as shoeing services. In the near future we plan to offer our bunk house for short or long term rental, RV hookups and arena events. With our services and business opportunities continuously growing, please keep an eye out for our website and please don’t hesitate to reach out for more information!

I am humbled and overflowing with gratitude today… because I was named Rookie Professional of the Year with the Southwest Missouri Reining Horse Association.
I didn’t achieve this by my own strength.
Every stride, every challenge, every long day and longer night—
God carried me through it all.
This award is a beautiful reminder that when you stay faithful, when you steward the gifts God places in your hands, and when you walk in obedience even when the path seems uncertain… He honors that. He multiplies what you surrender to Him and opens doors no one else could open.
I am proud of this accomplishment, but even more grateful for the One who made it possible.
First and foremost, thank You, Jesus, for choosing me, strengthening me, and allowing me to do what I love for Your glory. Every ride, every victory, and every moment in the arena belongs to You.
After God, I want to thank my husband, Joshua Speer, for standing beside me, believing in me, sacrificing with me, and supporting this dream every step of the way. This journey would not be possible without you. 🤍

Josh was also one of the first ever to be invited to compete in the 2002 In A Whisper Challenge Championship – winning the In A Whisper Challenge, which was the very first C**t Starting Challenge and led the way for the C**t Starting Challenges / Competitions as we know them today(Road To The Horse).
In front of an audience, be it 1 or 1000, Josh has a natural ability to convey information and get the best out of every horse and rider team he works with, resulting in Josh being the headline Clinician at every major horse expo in the USA, which has ultimately led Lyons Legacy to becoming the truly international brand it is today. Josh has conducted horse training clinics and demonstrations in every part of the USA and globally in Costa Rica, France, Grand Cayman, Australia and New Zealand to name a few.
In addition to all of this, and to demonstrate just how versatile a horseman Josh Lyons is, his equine career covers a multitude of disciplines, as well as having success in the world of Rodeo which includes championships in Saddle Bronc and Team Roping.
In his private life, Josh is a very devoted husband to his lovely wife Jana, and proud father to their four very active boys who are growing up extremely fast. The Legacy continues as Josh often works side by side with his oldest son Austin.
