“His shoulder is out, I think I need a chiropractor to put it back in place.”

Did you know that the shoulder is NOT a ball and socket jointed structure like our shoulder? a horses shoulder is what we like to call a floating structure. Meaning it is NOT held in place by another set of bones! The shoulder is surrounded by muscles and ligaments that ”hold it in place”. This allows the scapula to have that nice forward/backwards rotation allowing for those big beautiful strides!

So next time your horse is having shoulder issues, call your massage therapist first!

Completed a total of 10 saddle fittings today. It made for a really long day but it went SO well. I have been seeing and hearing that a lot of horses owners, trainers and other professionals are using PEMF machines and massage blankets to replace hands on bodywork.
