Pupdate!!
See the video for the pupdate! Rescued and reunited!!! 🙌🎉
What a day and it’s only 9:30 AM! Got a call from a colleague that one of my county offices in Ontario had a puppy dumped in the gated patio area with her toys. 💔
When they opened the office this morning they found her. Super sweet wagging her tail! But left there with no food or water just toys. 🤦♀️
Janette is in the area thankfully and heading there now to grab her and make sure she is safe until I get done with my training PowerPoint I have to present this morning at work.
As you can see it is hard rescuing while working. This is why we need volunteers to help with transport, fostering, any little tasks.
I don’t have a. Photo of her yet. They FaceTimed me this morning so I could see her. She’s a sweet pitty / lab mix about 5-6 months old. Black with a white stripe on her face. I will post pics as soon as she is safe in our hands!

🐾 **Urgent Update from Emily & Co. One Mutt at a Time Rescues** 🐾Dear Friends and Supporters,We haven't had time to update you all until now about our crazy last 36 hours. Since yesterday morning, our little warriors at just 4 weeks old faced a sudden, fierce battle with Parvo, a life-threatening virus. Noticing they were rapidly declining, we knew it was fight or flight. Thankfully, Emily is holding her own, but her brothers Elliott and Emmett quickly became critical, suffering from respiratory distress. In a desperate, sleepless bid to save their lives, we drove them down to our trusted Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Diego late last night to receive monoclonal antibodies. This treatment isn't FDA-approved for puppies under 6 weeks, but we signed a hold-harmless waiver, hoping to turn the tide against this virus. We're relieved to share that Emily & all four boys received treatment By 5 AM today, and we brought them back home. After a brief rest, we transferred their care to our dedicated Critical Care Foster, Roksana. She has a powerful arsenal of antibiotics, motility drugs, and continuous fluids to provide them with the best possible support as their tiny bodies battle against the odds.Tragically, Emmett's condition escalated quickly, and he coded early this afternoon. Still, Roksana's swift actions saved him, and he's now stable in an incubator on oxygen and fluids (see attached pics). We are hopeful we caught this early—none of the puppies have shown signs of hemorrhagic diarrhea, a common severe symptom of Parvo. As you can imagine, treatment at this level is expensive. We've already incurred about $2,500 in vet bills and supplies, with costs expected to rise as we continue this critical fight. We are reaching out to our community during this challenging time for any support you can offer. Every little bit helps us keep fighting for their tiny lives.Thank you for your ongoing support and prayers. We promise to keep fighting as long as they do. 💪
Happy Tails
