🛑Annoyed by DEMAND barking? Does your dog have little PATIENCE?🛑
Dutch is a typical, overly energetic Bernadoodle with a very busy mind. He has little patience and will demand bark whenever he doesn’t get immediate attention. This fun game is really helping his settle down his mind, stay focused and calm all the way to the end of his tail! Watch how much control he is gaining as he brings even his wagging tail to a halt! # herrimandogtrainer

As we think about play with our dog, fetch is a very fun way to engage with your dog in a memorable way. ❤️ No matter how old they are you can teach a dog fetch if they are motivated to play. Fetch can be done with any object, not just a ball.🪢🥏

☝️) Start with short distances by tossing the object a couple feet away from you. If needed put the object on a rope or attached to a dog leash so you can softly reel the dog back in to help them understand the pattern to the game.🎣

✌️) Focus on celebrating the return of the object as your first priority. Creating this strong memory is key to a successful return of the object. Don’t worry if the dog doesn’t drop the object in this beginning phase. Want them to remember how amazing it is to come back to you.🥳

Watch 👀 for more play videos as we get ready for great memories with your dog, especially if they will have new toys under the tree this holiday season! 🎄❄️

Sweet Tora, an 11 month old Doberman Pinscher is looking for her perfect home. She came to us for training from a home that is not a good match for her young puppy energy and the amount of dedicated training she will need.
She is amazing with other dogs and loves people. She is pretty good on a leash and we are continuing to work with her. She knows basic commands and is reliable in low-distraction environments.
The ideal home will provide the structure and a gentle hand to help her confidence grow. An owner who has previous dog experience with larger breeds. She will do best if she has room to run either in a larger yard or dedicated owner time on walks/hikes/outings.

A minimal adoption fee will be collected to ensure she goes to a good home that can care for her appropriately. If interested, please email us at trainer@fullhousedogtraining or text 801.890.6905.

🐶Bogey and 🐶Bodhi are on their way to becoming “holiday-ready”, well-behaved pups! Just in time for the holidays too! 🎄

🐾Bodhi is working through some anxiety tendencies, like his reactivity, becoming better on the leash, and separation anxiety from his family.

🐾Bogey is working on making better decisions, like staying on the ground when people approach, not counter surfing, and not taking household object and chewing them.

Stay tuned for these pup’s transformation! 👈🏼

🚙✈️🐶 Traveling with your pup?? Here are five tips to keep your dog comfortable and safe on your journey:

👨🏻‍⚕️ Take your dog to the vet to ensure they’re healthy and ready for travel by car, plane, train, bus, etc.
📑 Keep track of your vaccination records, in case your airline asks.
🚙 Begin small by sitting in the car with your dog, or taking short rides to get your dog used to traveling in the car. Utilize a dog seatbelt, car seat, or a safety harness for your pup when they’re on long rides with you.
🏷️ Verify your dog is tagged and you bring a leash!
🚫 To avoid carsickness, have your dog travel with an empty stomach.

We hope you get to your destinations safe and sound! Have any more tips that work for you? Put them in the comments!
