Hello everyone! Quick update on the business.
Unfortunately we are still temporarily closed due to the hot water heater busting in April. We have been working hard to get this matter resolved but unfortunately have been told as of yesterday that it may end up being August before we can reopen! We are so sorry that we can not and have not been able to accommodate you these past couple of months but hopefully with everyone pulling together we will reopen soon. Thank you everyone for all the prayers and kind remarks we have received. They have truly meant the world to us and have helped us push through this unfortunate time.

Good Morning yall!🤗... Sasha here!!!

As you know S & L Grooming LLC is closed temporarily due to water damage. This a shock and a hurt to us all.

With that being said... a positive is that I am offering grooming services from my home. Appointments available starting tomorrow.

I'm also trying to work out offering mobile grooming services in the near future.

***Please know that I am not grooming under the S&L Grooming LLC name... I am my own entity and grooming from my home. Therefore if anything happens with your furbaby you will be liable for them. I am offering my grooming services as a courtesy for my requests clients as well as long time clients of ours that would still like my expertise.***

Attention S&L grooming family we have had our hot water heater bust overnight and flood our facility and business will be temporarily closed for a couple of weeks until we can get everything back up and going. Thank you for your patience and understanding

Since last week, we have received such an outpour of wonderful compliments for the great work and customer service we have and still are providing that all of us at S & L would like to thank you! We would like for yall to submit in the comments section below 1 beautiful, creative, spoiled furbaby pose between now and 1:00 pm tuesday april 2nd. At this time, each one of of that work here will pick a favorite pic of our choosing on fb live....there are 5 of us, so this means there will be five winners! When we go to fb live, we will announce each of our winners and then draw an Easter egg out of the basket. There will be five eggs and each egg will consist of one of the following to be won...

Ya know, this is what's get me.....we had a customer today that came in for their appt with us and sent their husband in to do the drop off. When he asked if we could do a mini groom and not really cut any hair off , I explained that his furbaby was matted and I wasn't sure if we could save any of the hair length. I also went as far as to pull a comb out and show him how badly his dog was matted and explained that if we could save it by taking the extra hour to try and work the mats out that it would cost extra for the additional time and effort. We also then called him with a rough estimate and explained that there were a number of ways we could do this and of course he opted for the cheaper way around which was a shaved down. He understood all his options and was told that due to the mats being so close his furbaby was going to be cut short all over and stated to us he didn't want to pay to much of the original cost sooo what did we do, we did what he told us and what happened... the wife got mad and of course called us complaining. Which is understandable, but what gets me is he lied to his wife and didn't tell her everything we told him and only told her that the dog was matted in two places. This made us look like fools for the neglect they did to this baby. Then she goes and leaves us a 1 star review because she didn't like they way her dog looked when he got home.
Now people, I tell ya ..it's hard enough to come in everyday and do your best in this town with the profession we have chosen, but to blame us all the time for neglect on your part is just hateful and disrespectful. That's why we have started doing the C.Y.A thing by taking pics and proving to people these lies that are being told because in all this is damaging to a business and can cause harm to our business. It makes us lose customers and cause doubt between customers and groomers .
So please,....when posting a negative review, just know that we are prepared to come back with a response.......no matter the cost.
There are peoples livelihoods your messing with and it's hard enough on the day to day basis that we shouldn't have to contend with this BS too.
Here are the pics below of that furbaby that came in this morning ...face neck body and legs totally matted and would have been excruciating agony to put this baby through an hour of dematting just so the owner wouldn't have to pay and extra 20 dollars ..
Whewww the nerve of some people these days!

Ok guys we have another sweet baby looking a new home. PRESSE CANARIO MASTIF 5 Years old neutered and utd on vacs. Really good with people but not so much with cats and small breed dogs . Needs to be rehomed to someone with experience in large breeds and he walks really well on a leash .
