Happy New Year everyone. I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and are looking forward to some Nosework fun in 2025.
Classes are posted on my webstie : www.cannyk9companions.com there are a few spots available.
Three workshops are on offer this spring - Michele Ellertson will be here in March, Garrett Dyer will be joining us in April closely followed by Dana Zinn at the begining of May. What an exciting line up. Once details are finalized I will let everyone who has expressed interest know and the details will also be posted on the website.
March 15th & 16th we have an NW3 & Elite trial at The Peaks Retreat and Adventure Center in Thaxton, VA. The opening date is January 27th - the links are on the event page on my website.

Superb weekend of Nosework at Phoebe Needles. The weather was glorious, a beautiful venue and the best people to work with. A huge thank you to Connie my VC who worked tirelessly all weekend to keep things running smoothly and to Sharon and Tom for delicious hospitality and parking lot expertise. All the volunteers were amazing, cheerful, friendly and efficient. Our CO Sarah who set fun and challenging hides and is always a delight to work with and our two excellent judges Julie Gaunt Harris and Mimi Harrington, everyone appreciated all the helpful feedback.Many thanks go to Louisa Arendt for the great photos.

This is way overdue but congratulations to all my students who competed in the SCCTC Scentwork Trial a few weekends ago. I am so proud of everyone. On Saturday four high in trials were awarded and each one was a student of mine. It is so rewarding to see all the hard work pay off and be able to enjoy everyone celebrating with their dogs whether it was because you won a ribbon or because your dog worked in what had once been a challenging environment for them. It was a busy trial weekend last weekend. I hope everyone who competed enjoyed the time spent with their dog and their parking lot friends. Congratulations to everyone who was successful and commiserations to those who came very close. Thank you for keeping me posted, I am always on tenterhooks waiting to hear how everyone got on. 😆🐾👏 I hope, ribbons or not, you learned something useful from the experience, enjoyed competing with your dog and took home some happy memories. You all work really hard. Well done!

Great ORT today. Thank you to Anke King for coming down to CO and to all my wonderful volunteers who made it possible. I enjoyed watching all the different teams, such a great variety of dog breeds. I hope everyone enjoyed it and achieved their own personal goals with their dog. Everyone seemed to be having fun in the parking lot spending time with friends and class mates.

It's only taken a week but thank you so much to Michele Ellertson for a fabulous three days of workshops. We all had great fun with our dogs and finished the weekend wanting more. I wasn't able to get photos of everyone but enjoy these.🐾🐾🐾
