I had a great helper for my second trip to Florida! We stayed an extra day to avoid the snow and ice storm in the midwest, and it was a great decision! The entire drive home was 100% dry pavement which was a huge blessing! Now we are packing up and heading back south tomorrow morning for the last group of January horses to be picked up and dropped off. Pray for safe travels and clear roads for us on this last trip! ❤️🙏🦄🌴

Packing for Florida looks a little different this year 😃 Horse blankets and trunks and saddles and a baby wagon plus diapers, a walker and a sleep sack.

Second load of horses made it to florida and now we get to have a couple days in the sun before heading home in the snow! Then trip number 3 right after that!

First load dropped off, now heading home with these two boys.. will get home tomorrow then clean and reorganize and pack on Tuesday for the second batch of florida horses going down!

6 Horses loaded in 12 minutes this morning! It was between 48 and 55 degrees yesterday, and we will be in Florida in under 4 hours. This has got to be all around one of the best trips to Florida I've ever had! I've driven in snow and ice and double digit negative temps, I also took 3 loads of horses when i was sick with COVID. So very thankful when everything goes so smoothly! 🙏

Love how everything turned out with the trailer! Now I'm packing this afternoon to get ready to take the first load of horses to Florida tomorrow morning. Inside the trailer we got a werm rubber floor installed, new custom windows frames with heavy duty bars, and new butt and chest bar pads made. The trailer is going to be extra comfy for the horses now, I'm so excited to have this all done before the busy season starts!

Also, can we all appreciate this lovely weather we've been having? I've loaded horses headed for florida when it was -15. The high is 49 here tomorrow. I'm so thankful I won't be driving in snow or ice 🙏🙏🙏

We are now offering annual trailer inspections, equient installation and any repairs from your hitch to your bumper! Horse trailers, boat trailers, flatbeds, car trailers, hay trailers, enclosed trailers, Eric can do it all!

Our tandem axle trailer full service is $200 and will include all 4 wheel bearings packed and a complete inspection and any necessary adjustments of your entire trailer. This includes but is not limited to checking/greasing the hitch or gooseneck and all jack components, safety chain inspection and testing your breakaway battery system, inspecting tire inflation and condition, brake adjustment and function, torsion axle or leaf spring condition including welds, all hinges gates or latches, all marker, running, and break light operation, door, trailer divider, or ramp functions, and much more. If you have any additional repairs needing done exceeding $250 and choose to have us perform them, we will give you $50 off of your initial inspection as a way to say thank you!

Happy friday!

I had a little bear help me turn horses out this morning! This was the first time I've switched horses around with her and to say things are more work with a baby would be the understatement of the year if you saw us today 😬🫠 Im still trying to figure out the safest way to get work done in the barn and handling multiple horses with the baby but we will get it!

I'm just so thankful for all of the extra help we have with chores in the barn this year because the cold weather, wind, and walking groups of 2-3 horses at the same time made us all a little fresh today! A big thank you to Lissa and Lexi for feeding grain this morning, my brother for taking Callie mid way thru turn out, and Linda for the cute pics! I think breakfast and swapping horses would have taken us girls 3-5 business days if we did it all alone!

I got a load of shavings today and the guy who loaded the trailer was doing the Lords work kicking the shavings into the corners of the trailer before he piled a hige mound on top! Heading back for another trailer load tomorrow so our shavings room will be FULL! Love having plenty of shavings especially this time of year... never know when the weather will be terrible and horses will have to stay inside!

When you've got work to do but your trailer is getting a glow up before we take horses to florida for the winter, your friends make it happen 🩷 A humongus thank you to one of the best guys around and our main barn farrier Zach Kaup for lending me this beaut👌so I could haul a bull to his new girlfriends house. So thankful for friends who jump in to help no matter what!

Special hay delivery to our friends barn in Kansas City before the weather gets bad this winter! Love to see the bales stacked in their barn.... love it even more that we don't have to hand throw the bales! Keep us in mind if you're wanting to simplify your feeding program. These bundled bales make everything so much easier!

We had the best time in Texas this past week celebrating Callies first Thanksgiving. We have so much to reflect on and be thankful for this year! A tremendous shout out to all of our hard working ladies in the barn for making this possible for us, if it weren't for each and every one of them helping out, this wouldn't have been possible. The barn kitchen is looking much better these days! We have a few things to finish up and then a mini split is getting installed for heat and air conditioning here! I hope it will be much more comfortable for pony club to use for their horse management meetings, and having a climate controlled lunch and show office area will be super handy in the summer!
