Liz, Mercy, and Maggie spent hours pulling everything out of the feed room, cleaning, reorganizing, and rearranging the entire room! What a fabulous surprise! Thank you ladies for your hard work!
Love how everything turned out with the trailer! Now I'm packing this afternoon to get ready to take the first load of horses to Florida tomorrow morning. Inside the trailer we got a werm rubber floor installed, new custom windows frames with heavy duty bars, and new butt and chest bar pads made. The trailer is going to be extra comfy for the horses now, I'm so excited to have this all done before the busy season starts!
Also, can we all appreciate this lovely weather we've been having? I've loaded horses headed for florida when it was -15. The high is 49 here tomorrow. I'm so thankful I won't be driving in snow or ice πππ
The barn kitchen is looking much better these days! We have a few things to finish up and then a mini split is getting installed for heat and air conditioning here! I hope it will be much more comfortable for pony club to use for their horse management meetings, and having a climate controlled lunch and show office area will be super handy in the summer!
Backseat driver this morning!
Our annual mag application is done! Thankful for the rain today to put some moisture in the air so it melts faster and I can get it mixed in this afternoon. It's great to have an arena that isn't dusty, especially going in to winter!

Just needs a few more hooks and it's ready to be filled! Love how everything turned out!
Bitey face thru the fence is a superior game
We had a full load with 2 trucks and 2 trailers and a skidloader when we picked up the new cross country jumps for Pony Club yesterday!
Glad we took the big trailer because I don't think we could have fit one more piece on it!!
We want to extend a big thank you to Carine Stava for her hard work building them and all of the great events that she put on at her farm. We are so thankful to be able to use them now and can't wait to add them to our cross country field!
This was just what I needed after being on the road so much the past couple weeks! Callie made sure I got the trailer nice and clean and then we went to Lincoln for some fun! Our friend Doan (one of the owners of the salon) sat with Callie so I could enjoy my coffee pedicure.
Now our whole family is up visiting friends in Wisconsin this weekend before hauling horses home on Monday. I'm trying to get better with this whole work/life balance thing.... I'm not sure I'll ever quite have the hang of it, but having a baby definitely makes life slow down. I'm sure thankful for everyone who has done so much extra to keep our farm and barn running this summer while she is still little. What a wonderful village we have
