I apologize for being distant- but me and the children need mental health healing time - the aviary has been as well compensated with a fabulous new format- starlink is our new indenting that five companies have failed such far 🤦‍♀️ satellite - we have new Eclectus baby hatching and some kiddos incubating - 3 sle ya Indian ringnecks kiddos are being weaned - but due to passing of daddy.. I am wanting to dna and keep for sentimental reasons their male fama

This post is being made to educate on the “said” age of a parrot

If you must know the exact age of a rescue or rehome animal … of any species… your heart is in the wrong place …..
And you do not need to be on the page 🤷‍♀️🙌.
The million and one reasons any animal can pass after any kind of trauma felt by even only being rehome - let alone if they were nutritionally deprived, mistreated,etc YOU will never know …. So to be concerned with age of a rehomed parrot 🤷‍♀️ is the same chance your taking with a breeder that has lacking education of proper diet and breeding practices anyway - so many factors affect longevity any animal, as well as there have been expensive species, paid in full , sent home ( and recently didn’t make it home!) healthy parrots … glade, burnt popcorn , farm machinery malfunctioning etc. again go to a pet store and check price of mullocan cockatoo and while you are there - see if they can guarantee it lives for you 50-75 years 🤦‍♀️- stress is why Kim is off the grid! So be kind

Lucy is available !!!!! 💕💖🙌🌻🌻 update! There have been several messages concerning where Lucy came from , please STOP or you will be banned - the rescue/ rehabbing part of this service is the same as a human that can not take care of their child , give respect!!! Lucy is a darling and comes to everyone - she loves to dance and sing and interact with every ounce of her being! Her prior situation is never our concern- just need to make sure all birds that come get assessed properly and fitted to the home the BIRD fits! In Lucy’s case…. She gets along with any size or s*x human- dogs cats and absolutely has shown zero hold back of being anything less then a social butterfly!!!! She is NOT cheap or free!!!!!!! She will be placed with a home that understands the process of why precious birds come with precious prices. Cuz until that home is found - as she has been since….. she stays at the aviary!!! Kimberly’s Birdie bungalow’s mission is to rehome properly, not a nonprofit rescue - quality is the birds are and if a bird is not able to show that- they go to sanctuary where they live their life without being shuffled anymore - Lucy is quality , and loves her life with her personal Alexa by her side because she loves constant interaction 🤣💖. Serious inquiries ONLY. No poking of possibly being your previous bird you sold! How awful 🤦‍♀️. If you sold your bird, you don’t need to judge someone for doing the same later 🤷‍♀️ Lucy deserves the upmost respect, as she surely is a queen

Aviary is officially relocated! We have had some bumps.. but until new home location is added for the benefit of my special needs son, I am super limited on any extras rn- his new iep team is fabulous

Here, some wisdom I've found that I now share every year. 💜💜

I will not apologize for my pricing.

No small business should.

My pricing allows me to make a profit.

Which allows me to pay my bills.

Which also allows me to stay in business.

My pricing allows me to pay myself for the countless hours I work.

My pricing keeps a roof over my head and food on my table.

I own a small business.

I am not Walmart (a 500 billion dollar company). I’m unable to provide things at the “lowest price”, order millions of units, and still stay in business.

I'm not the “cheapest”. I’m also not “the most expensive”.

My pricing is what it is to allow this small business to keep going which allows me to keep making a positive impact.

I will not apologize for my pricing because I shouldn't.
