Nothing better than a handler messaging you to tell you that their dog apprehended a barricaded suspect, with several felony warrants, that refused to surrender after hours of negotiations! Feedback like this makes all of the hours we put in to our pups worth every minute!

“Three people have been arrested for reports of a home burglary in Roy. The homeowner interrupted them mid-burglary and the suspects quickly left and drove off.

However, the car got stuck in the mud on someone’s lawn as they tried to escape. The woman driving stayed at the scene but two men ran off.

All three suspects were charged with one count of residential burglary.”

Tracking machine this boy is! Awesome work!!

This morning, the Centralia Police Department attempted to stop a stolen vehicle with a known wanted subject driving. This suspect had fled from multiple agencies recently. The vehicle was spiked and the driver fled the vehicle on foot in Thurston County. K9 Igo responded and tracked the suspect for over an hour. K9 Igo tracked over numerous fences and ended up at the back of a residence where the suspect was located inside. Great work K9 Igo and all agencies that assisted!

wishes you all a Merry Christmas! 🎄 This year we placed two more young pups into departments, marking our 23rd and 24th certified K9 teams since 2018. Most know that we both have full time jobs (Law Enforcement and Veterinary Medicine), one of us is in school, we have two boys, we board LE K9s and try and squeeze in as much K9 training as we can when it allows. All of these things make it challenging at times but it’s worth every minute. Thanks for all the support this year and we look forward to what’s in store in 2024! 💙

It’s not easy finding someone who can safely catch your dogs, who can help problem solve and who you can always count on to make himself available. A diamond in the rough and someone who has irreplaceable value.

Such a handsome dude! Ghero is a perfect balance of “go” and “woah”! Environmentally sound, good obedience and one scary bark! He is trained in man tracking/trailing, building searches and bitework. He is the first to let us know someone pulled in. He’s a ball lovin’ steady eddy!! Although he has a foundation for Law Enforcement, he could make a nice family protector or sport dog as well!
