Solar had a big day this week 💛💛💛 We’ve been working on blanketing and desensitizing and we finally succeeded! He would have been completely fine without a blanket but he has a few spots that look like they might be early rain rot hot spots so I wanted to protect his skin. His winter coat is so thick that he’s in a rain sheet without any fill. I’m so happy with his progress!

Oona got to jump in and help out with a lesson because PD was having a bad day. S was a bit nervous because it was her first time riding her but Oona was her normal plucky, wiggly self and won her over immediately. ❤️

Snapdragon saved the day when Penny stepped on a rock and started limping halfway through her lesson (we took her shoes off to give her feet a little break while it’s muddy🙄). Snapdragon rose to the challenge and relaxed into her slowest trot ever🤦‍♀️. C rose to the challenge and did a great job guiding Snaps (even though Snaps kept running out of jumps during her last lesson😉). Sometimes the best things happen by accident. S has been working on getting Penny to trot up to a jump and then canter out.
