Holyfield!

Meet Mr. Social, Holyfield. Tired of too much room on your couch, always going to the bathroom alone, extra space in you bed, having to pick up any food you drop? Well…. Holyfield is your solution! This guy is a world class snugger, better than a Dyson vacuum in the kitchen, feet warmer when in the bathroom and famous pillow fluffer at bed time!

Holyfield didn’t have the best life before coming to the rescue. As you can see, his ear has been ripped off and it looks to have been sewn shut outside of a vet clinic. Unfortunately, in Texas, we see unimaginable things that happen to the sweet babies. The good news is that he doesn’t hold a grudge and loves ALL the people that he meets! Personally, we think his one ear makes him super handsome!

Holyfield and around 1 year old, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and has a rabies vaccine. He will also come with a health certificate from his veterinarian.

Holyfield loves dogs, is house broken, great in his kennel, medium energy and only around 40 lbs. He is a little too curious about cats so probably best in a home without kitties.

Meet Pippi! She is adoptable through Cypress Lucky Mutt Rescue - Northeast

This little cutie is full of sass and snuggles and has the cutest personality. She loves attention, showing off her toys, playing with her much bigger foster brothers and snoring as loud as she can. She is the best snuggle buddy and loves being close to her foster humans. She makes an excellent work from home companion as she spends most of the day chilling next to her foster mom while she works. She’d do great in a home with other dogs to play with but would also be just fine getting all the attention for herself. She’s not currently in a home with small children but she’s loved and been great with every human she’s met. With her super sweet demeanor and mannerisms she’d probably be great with the littles too!

Pip has been doing well with learning and accepting boundaries at her foster’s home and typically listens when you tell her “no”. She knows basic commands like sit and shake, is a chewer but sticks to only chewing toys, is potty trained, crate trained (doesn’t love the crate but won’t fight getting in) and sleeps through the night.

Pippi is around 2 years old, American bully mix, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and has a rabies vaccine. Pippi also has a health certificate from her veterinarian.

Her adoption fee is $350 and transport is $185.

Hello! My name is Roger. I’m only a year old but I've already suffered on the streets of Houston and I know what rejection feels like. Let me tell you my story…

One day, I went into an apartment complex. I was hungry, very malnourished and tired. I had been trying to find my home for days. I saw a lady headed to work and I was trying to eat her cats' food. She kindly gave me food and water and she took me to the vet to see if I had a microchip. Turns out, I did! They talked to my owner and he said he was coming to pick me up. I didn't know what was happening. I just waited in a very cold cage, hoping he just lost me. I waited for 2 days but he never came for me and he stopped answering his phone. Luckily, the gentle lady came back for me and brought me into her home to foster me.

I am very happy with her but her house is very small and I'm a little big and I really like to jump and play. I love toys and I love to run! I'm still young and I want be playing all day long. I love humans and I get along very well with other dogs but I'm a little shy at first. I promise, I’m a good boy. I hope you’ll give me a chance. I’m ready to give you all of my love in return!

Roger is current on vaccines, rabies vaccine and is on Simparica Trio for heartworm/flea/tick preventative. He’s neutered and microchipped. He’ll get a health certificate from our vet before he transports. His adoption fee is $300 and transport fee is $185.

🐾 Meet Honey Bun, the adorable 3-month-old special Heinz 57 Mix, believed to be a Shepherd/Ridgeback, who is an absolute sweetheart! She currently weighs about 20 lbs, and will most likely be about 50-60 pounds full grown.🐾

This girl is super smart and loves to learn! She is rocking potty training and already working on basic commands. Honey’s playful spirit shines brightest when she's running around with her canine buddies. She loves all dogs big and small and is very respectful to older dogs.

Honey is a bundle of joy with a heart full of love to give. This cuddly girl is the perfect combination of affectionate and playful, she adores spending time with her humans and furry friends alike. Her personality will melt your heart from the moment you meet her. While she hasn’t met a cat, she has a very calm and respectful nature, we are guessing she would do well with a kind hearted kitty.

Meet Zuzu, the life of the party, tiny, zoomy girl, that finds joy in the little things. Get lost in her eyes! She is an adventure seeker and always ready to ride!

ZuZu is believed to be an Australian Shepherd / Husky mix, she is about 6 months old, weighs 22 lbs, loaded with energy, that loves all people, all toys, and all her furry foster siblings. We aren’t sure how big she will be as an adult but guessing under 40lbs. What’s not to love, right?

She does well on a leash and is learning to not chase too many squirrels. She is potty trained and she does great sleeping on her dog bed through the night.

She knows the basic commands and listens very well. Her dream home has another dog for her to play with, maybe a nice pool as she loves the water, and lots of room to run. Hiker? Oh, she’s ready and has the energy. She’s looking for her forever home that will love her as much as she loves her toys.

Meet Snickers 🍫

A 6-month-old brindle Catahoula mix who’s as sweet as her name suggests! She’s not going to be a big girl, currently just 24 lbs.
This gentle, calm, and loving girl was found out in the country all alone, but now she’s ready to bring joy to any home.

Snickers is great with kids, all dogs, people, and even cats—she loves everyone she meets! She's fully potty trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to any family. She loves her walks and playing with her doggy siblings and cuddling with her human siblings that are 5 and 7 yrs old.

While she’s already mastered "sit," Snickers is eager to learn even more tricks as she continues to grow. Her foster family adores her and if they didn’t already have a house full of animals, she would easily be staying! She is a great dog for anyone!

Snickers is spayed, has had 2 rounds of puppy shots, and is heart worm negative. All dogs in our care are dewormed multiple times and given heartworm and flea and tick medication.

Have you ever picked up a book and put it back solely based on its title? 📖
At some point in our lives we have probably judged something by its title or look. Unfortunately for this guy it’s been happening for over 375 days. That’s right, hes been searching for a place to call home for over 1 full year!

You see the dog formally known as “Brownie” is constantly over looked due to his age or possible breed, but that’s the crazy thing, because hes nothing as you’d imagine!
So, we have decided a kind, gentle, old soul deserves a name that fits. Meet Charlie Brown! 🎄 🐕

Let’s over look the idea that he seems to be an Akita. He could be a Husky/Pitty for all we know, but this guy is as sweet as his name suggests!

He is a handsome 3 year old mix that weighs just about 47 lbs. (currently a little too thin) Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, he was returned to us after being with a family for two years. He has been great with the current fosters 6 and 8 year old sons. He is very dog and people friendly. We have NOT tested him with cats.

Charlie loves being around his people and is a bit of a velcro dog. He will follow you around the house and as soon as you sit he is ready to snuggle up next to you. He is a big cuddle bug! He is VERY treat-motivated and learned to “sit” and “lay” in just a matter of days! What can we say? He’s one smart cookie! He loves chew bones, toys, and going on walks and is friendly with other dogs who approach him.

The only down side, is Charlie is afraid of being alone. He will kennel but is worried you won’t come back so he does require a heavy duty kennel. (Which will be provided and come with him once adopted) He’s an all-around sweet boy and would do best with a family who has someone home most of the day and will take him on a walk or for a ride in the car. He’s not super needy and does not require a ton of exercise.

If you’re looking for a little sugar in your life, look no further. Charlie Brown is your guy! Charlie will come with his very own Virtual Personal Trainer to assist with learning his cool new tricks.

A delightful 18 week old, lucky mutt, who is believed to be a Shepherd mix. Currently weighing 21lbs, she is believed to be about 50-60 lbs full grown. She is as cuddly as she is smart and her most favorite spot is in your lap!
She is a has a huge love for dogs and kids but might not be the best fit for small dogs or cats who aren't as active or engaging.
Sugar is on the journey to mastering some basic commands, and she's potty trained. She is working on building confidence on leash which will come with continued practice and age. She will sleep in her kennel but would rather sleep next to her favorite people (and does great with that)

Hopper is an 8 month old purebred ShihTzu looking for her forever home. She is the sweetest girl! She is in a home with kids and dogs and is great with everyone. We don’t know about cats. She is a bit shy at first when meeting new people but warms up quick. She will greet you each morning by jumping on your legs before potty time outside. She is potty trained and is kenneled during the day when her foster mom is gone. She loves treats and belly rubs. She is young and loves to play so we feel she would really enjoy another pup in the home to run around with.

Hopper is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines including rabies and will come with a health certificate from the vet.. She was recently groomed and will need regular grooming appointments.

Hi there! I'm Noelle! I'm a super cute and beautiful 12 week old hound mix. I'll be a medium sized girl when I'm all grown up. Me and my siblings were a big surprise to the nice man that rescued my stray mama since he didn't know she was pregnant! So my sister and I get to hang out with my foster family soaking up the love and attention while I wait for my forever home. I get along great with my fosters dogs and I'm curious about the cat, but don't mess with it. Those things have sharp claws! I'm a fun loving, spunky girl, and I love to play!

I'm super sweet and love to give you kisses! I'm smart too! I've already learned to sit before I can have a treat and I'm about to start learning how to walk on a leash. I'm a little late to the potty training game, but I'm learning fast. Remember what I said about being smart? A nice man took in my mama as a stray and didn't realize she was pregnant. Surprise! So I'm looking for my forever home while my sister and I hang out with my foster family getting lots of love! I get along great with my foster's dogs and I'm curious about the cat, but I don't get too close. I'm a little shy, but warm up to you quickly. Treats speed it up fast! I'm really soft and sweet and squishy and would make the best snuggle buddy!

I got a late start to potty training, but I'm really smart and making good progress! I've already learned to sit before I get a treat and will practice walking on a leash soon.
