I had the opportunity over the weekend to attend a goat Artificial Insemenation class.

Wow! Did I learn a lot!
I am excited to start implementing artificial insemenation within our herd.

My old girl Pixie got a well deserved pedicure. She’s feeling like a spring chicken again.

They were wonderful company and great with the animals!

To the farmers …. past & present big & small Conventional & unconventional To grain farmers and hay farmers to pig farmers and cattle dairy to beef and every farmer in between Thank you thank you for your long days and sleepless nights.

Phineas & Pherb are sure characters! I dont think Mom & grandma are amused by their shenanigans. Phineas & Pherb would be great family pets & are searching high and low for their hoomans.

So Petunia & her litter mates were giving to me when they were just days old because their mom just wasn’t a good mom. So I raised bottle raised them in the house until they were old enough & 4 of them went to a good home & I kept Petunia & Rudy (if you met him you’d know why RUDE-y is a fitting name) So when my little bacon bits arrived I was a little worried that Petunia might follow in her moms foot steps & having never raised pigs with a mom I was worried, so worried I had the neighbors check on them for me while I was at work! Boy was all that worry for nothing! She’s the best piggy mom. So I thought I’d share a little clip of Petunia talking to her little bacon bits while they get some grub!

Soooo my goat Elsie that I raised in the house during COVID had her first babies yesterday a boy and a girl. Well she wasn’t to interested in them so of course they came in the house in my bath tub 😩 it took me a whole 24 hours to realize the bathtub ain’t big enough for two babies. I worked all morning getting things cleaned and moved around and now have a stall OUTSIDE and OUT of my bath tub! 😂 Enjoy some cuteness of them discovering all the room they have now. Also they are both available for new homes 😍
