Last week we lost a dear friend, member, and mentor. Steve Barbash passed away after a brief illness last Thursday. Steve, past President of Genesee Valley Kennel Club, was a mentor and teacher to many of us. He not only patiently tolerated my exuberant Boxers, he and his wife Anne guided me through the machinations which comprise being a show chair. He was our ambassador, historian, and supreme story teller. I will miss him immensely. Please take a moment and read this beautiful tribute and share your memories with each other. What a wonderful way to end our 2024 GVKC year! Please enjoy these pics from last weekend's Barnhunt trials. Crisp days at East Wind's. Hi Barn Hunt Friends!
There is still time to enter our upcoming "Home for the Holidays" Barn Hunt trial on November 2nd and 3rd at East Wind's Canine Events. Entries will be accepted until October 23rd and may be submitted by email or U.S. mail. **UPDATE** - We will have the Rise and Shine To Go food truck available serving breakfast and lunch sandwiches beginning at 7am both days! This is one of the few Barn Hunt trials in our area that still offers two rings and two judges with a larger number of available entries. If entries are lower than anticipated this year, we will need to reconsider offering a two ring/two judge trial in future years.

Another successful WNY Twin Valley cluster has come to a close! Congratulations to all of our exhibitors. We thank you for supporting our shows and we loved seeing you and your beautiful dogs! Thank you to our many volunteers, our vendors, and the Hamlin Fire Department for helping make these shows a success. We appreciated seeing so many spectators from the local community and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Good morning from the WNY Twin Valley cluster! It is a beautiful day for a dog show🌞Stop by today to cheer on your favorite breeds 🐶🐕🐩🐾 We have an Irish Wolfhound specialty this morning. Groups start at 1:45 and the 4-6 month puppy competition starts at 2pm. If you are coming out to today’s show, please be sure to leave your companion dogs at home.

Hi friends! It’s day 2 of the WNY Twin Valley cluster. Come meet the breeds today at noon. Once again we have an awesome basket raffle! Groups start at 12:45. 4-6 month baby puppy at 1pm. Stop by the Hamlin Fireman’s Field and see our many beautiful dogs 🐶😍

THIS WEEK! Please join us for our annual Western New York Twin Valley Cluster all-breed dog show. This is a great family friendly event! Highlights include baby puppy competition, raffles, obedience, rally, meet the breeds, junior handling, Best in Show, and Netsin's Ice Cream. Please leave your companion dogs at home unless they are entered in the show. Parking is $5.00 per day or $10 for the three-day event. Cash only. We hope to see you in Hamlin this week, Friday-Sunday!
