DIY-
As tractor supply season begins, we all know how cute those little chicks/ducks are and how tempting it is to want to bring the little ones home.
Please remember they don’t stay little long. It’s important to have a clean safe environment and to be READY to commit to giving these birds care.
One thing I’ve personally learned on our farm is that it’s easier for clean up if your coops movable. Here’s a neat and inexpensive idea of a coop you can DIY for your new birds.
** We personally have this set up for our bunnies. Leaving the top still accessible for our kids to jump. (Small shelter under for rain and bedding)

Meet Angel 😇
This sweet baby was brought in looking for a bit more attention. Angel has made lots of new bunny friends and is enjoying this beautiful weather. Look at her hair flow in the wind. 🤣❤️

PONY CAMP:
As weathers warming up we will now start opening camp back up. Please read the following info below.
•Date - February 25th & 26th
•Time - 10 am to 1 pm
•Price is per child , if your signing up multiple children use code (FRIENDS) at check out. This will give you a discount for siblings.
•They will be fed a snack that menu will be posted in comments the day of camp.
•Camp will consist of learning to ride the ponies, bare back and saddled. Preparing stalls, Grooming, Games etc. This is an educational activity but most importantly lots of fun.

Meet Lizzy
Lizzy is our first lamb baby of the year. She’s only ONE DAY old. This sweet little girl will be bottle fed for many weeks and kept super warm as we try to mimic her mom the best we possibly can. Lizzy weighs about 3-4lbs coming from a fellow farm friend. How precious. 💛

Meet Mama Dot, Hershey and their sweet sweet baby girl. Coming in as the perfect family from a local goat farm. We are so excited to welcome them in as we prep our new goat area for everyone to enjoy. ❤️

Someone sent me this photo of our little Duke. I cropped out the beautiful baby for privacy purposes. But just look. This little guy came to us last year. Around the start of summer. And is still the size of a baby calf. We just love to share these stories and show you how these calf’s are doing as time passes by. Somehow we got lucky enough to have a mini Holstein.? At least he’s mini for now 🤣❤️🐮

Meet Georgia.
Georgia is a 12 year old Tennesse walking horse and recently left her long time owner. He’s spent many years loving her and now can no longer physically go outside to tend to her needs. He did a great job loving her as long as he could and we’re honored to welcome her to our farm. 🐴 ❤️

Bucks a 15 year old gelding. Who came to us a few days ago. He’s currently being trained to ride again and we’re working on some triggers but he’s a darling. ❤️

MEET AVERY
Who doesn’t love a pink piggy.
This sweet baby was up for grabs at a flea market where someone got her and brought her to us so she’d have a cage free life. She’s already spoiled. 🐷💕

Mabel is the sweetest little heifer.
No special needs. Just a big ol baby.
Currently on a bottle and making sure she doesn’t skip a single meal. Mabel loves to chase you… and is slowly learning not to knock you down. 😂

Meet Minnie! 🐰
Minnie is a 6 month old rex rabbit that we JUST welcomed onto our farm. She’s such a fun loving baby. And we can’t wait for her to meet the other bunnies so she can run and play.

Meet Hank and Frank.
We are loving this warm weather and all the babies coming in! ❤️ It’s also photographery season. I have so many of you reaching out for Easter sessions with baby calf, lambs and more. Meet Pearl.
Pearl is a very tiny 40lb heifer calf. A normal calf should be anywhere from 75-100lbs. Pearl was also a twin. Unfortunately her twin didn’t make it … So pearl was loaded up and brought to our rescue to be given special care . As of now she’s on a lower diet to fit her needs and has a small wobble to her walk. We expect her to make a full recovery and live her days on our farm here with little ol Duke! 🐮🤍

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS POST!
Hey y’all! I’d like to start by welcoming everyone to our farm! My name is Brittany, I’m the owner/farmer at our rescue . Below is a photo of my little family. Fostering and rescuing was a small hobby we started a few years back to learn and help a few animals as we could. 2020 we decided to open to the public .. i can’t express how BLESSED not only we are but these animals as well. We can’t thank you enough.
The purpose behind our farm is not only to help these animals but also to teach. When i first started it was very hard to find someone willing to share there knowledge with me.. it seemed like a hassle to even get the smallest bit of help.
On THIS post I’m going to leave the comments open for anyone who ever has a question.

DONATION INFORMATION:
In the past week we’ve gotten so many questions about how or what you all may donate to help our farm.
All our animals are spoiled and are living great lives but if you’d like to donate here are some things that would be extremely helpful:
• 5 gallon buckets
• Cedar shavings (we really go through these) or hay!
• Fruit, veggies, bread. . . Treats
• Grain (All Stock)
• Pallets (these make the best shelters for new friends. And help repair old shelters from rough playful friends)
• You may also donate your time. Volunteers are such a big help. If it’s to help clean, feed or just to pick an animal to groom and spend some time with.
We can’t thank you all enough.
ALL DONATIONS CAN BE DROPED OFF AT THE PICNIC TABLES IN FRONT OF OUR EVENT FIELD. We will see it immediately and put it where it needs to go! Thank you all for blessing these animals and our foster/rescue farm. The love and support you’ve shown has really made a difference in what we do!

A letter from us to you. 🤎

We would love to start of by welcoming any new faces. Recently we changed our name just a bit to :
Pretty Hippies Farm And Rescue LLC

Our mission here on the farm is primarily to rescue and rehabilitate special needs calf and bottled baby farm animals. The need for this is constant. Being blessed with this opportunity made us want to reach out and become bigger within our community. Bringing out children, youth and young adults to teach and inspire to become our next generation of farmers, rehabilitators , rangers, rescuers and more. Here on our farm you can not only come and play with these animals but also step in and help us help them. Learning the importance of farming, growing a garden and how to live off of your own land.
In 2022 alone we rescued and rehomed over 50 calf. It is so rewarding to watch these babies succeed and grow. To be able to take this experience and teach or give opportunities to those around us.
To give a chance to every animal no matter there disability.
We hope to grow even bigger this coming year, to save more lives and to teach more youth. We thank you all tremendously for all your support. We all are blessed. 🤍
