If you loved Sprocket and Penny's stripey sweaters, here is your chance to have one (or two) of your own. To save on expenses, I am back to being the only WhipKnits sweater knitter. I will do my best, but these might be the only sweaters in these colors available this fall. They are all size medium, however, A, B, C are normal whippet boy size M and D, E, F are normal whippet girl size M. $72 each includes US shipping. They will also fit border whippets. First to comment below with the letter of the sweater(s) you want, gets sweaters.

I was planning on saving these WhipKnits ruffle sweaters for a fall launch, but I have some unexpected expenses and my challenge is your opportunity. These are all size M and will fit a normal-sized female whippet or border whippet OR a smaller male who likes a little extra pizzazz in his wardrobe ;). WhipKnits has been on a yarn-buying freeze, but then the yarn I use for sweaters came out with a new set of colors. I mean, I had to try them out, right? This yarn is actually designed for crocheters and as you crochet granny squares it changes the colors for each round. I saw it and thought, hmm, I bet that would knit up into beautiful stripes. I love how these sweaters turned out and I still have four more colors to try. Which is your favorite?

This WhipKnits beauty is finished. Several people commented on the previous post loving this color combo. Unfortunately, I only had one skein of this yarn, and the color is discontinued. I thought I would do a spin-the-wheel random drawing to find this sweater a home. If you are interested in being in the drawing, comment below. Long ago, my Mom taught me how to knit.

In 1997, I discovered whippets and have had multiple whippets in my life ever since.

In 2005, I decided to combine my two loves and the first whippet sweater was created. Friends asked me to knit sweaters for their whippets and that was the start of WhipKnits.

Over the years, I expanded to make sweaters for all of the sighthound breeds as well as mixed breeds.
