And our final celebration for today is an extraordinary one. A lovely young family came by to learn about guinea pigs, and returned when they decided it was time to bring home a pair. And what pair did they vibe with? Attina and Marina! Not only did they choose gold star residents, they adopted the final members of a rescue story that has stretched over a year! One of our favorite families spent some time fostering Boone, a special young guinea pig who brought about a miracle when he became buddies with Hudson, an alumni of our program who didn't like a lot of people and certainly didn't like other pigs. Well, it looks like he's ready for a friend after all, and the foster became a permanent resident. A huge congrats to all, and thank you for fostering and for choosing adoption, again!

We're excited to announce Feta's adoption after the young pig caught the attention of an experienced guinea pig owner. Feta has put us through our paces, but we're so happy that, at the end of it all, he has a great home with a great family. Congratulations, and thank you for choosing adoption!

And we also get to celebrate the adoption of Cubby, the last of the English Spot babies! This delightful young rabbit was a staff favorite, so we are pleased that his new family saw his potential. We loved our special boys, Frank and Bergie, and their new family fell in love with them too! They were often considered by adopters, but ended up being second choice several times, leaving them as Gold Star Residents who were with us for a while. While we will miss our buddies, we're thrilled that they are off to be spoiled in a home of their own. Congrats to the amazing family that gave them a home. Thank you for choosing adoption!

We are so pleased that one of our hamster specialists decided to bring Bittie into her life after the dwarf hamster began showing signs of age related stress. She really needed an experienced home where her unique hamster needs would be taken care of, and she hit the jackpot! A huge thank you for choosing to adopt again!

It was love at first sight for Lance and his new adopter, who than began the process of convincing the powers that be that this rabbit was needed for their family. An amazing family, who has a whole herd of ferrets, was able to adopt the albino angel, obliterating our fears that she might be lonely. It's the perfect ending.
