Our adoptable animals who still need loving, patient homes!!!! Rocksee, the 12 y.o. Chihuahua/ Terrier Mix needs to be an only dog, will chase but won't hurt cats. Fitzgerald is a 1 y.o. male domestic short hair cat, LOVES humans and cuddles, needs to be fed separately from other cats - will steal other cats food. And Crumpets is a very sweet but shy young female cat, just 1 year old. She will need time, space, and patience to adjust. All are completely vaccinated and spayed / neutered and dewormed. PLEASE PM US IF you can give one of these sweet babies a stable home!!!

For those passing on Rocksee because of the fact that she will chase a cat, please know that she has never hurt a cat. If they run and hide or slap at her, she'll leave them alone. She really needs someone to step up and care about her. We have our own dogs. We can't keep her forever.She needs to be an only dog, and be fed separately from other pets.

ROCKSEE STILL NEEDS A ONE DOG ONLY HOME OR A RESCUE THAT HAS A FOSTER WHO CAN PROVIDE THIS FOR HER !!!!

Poor Rocksee has not had one single person inquire about adding her to their family 😢 With all of the puppies that are readily available every time you turn a corner, it's easy for many to ignore a sweet 12 year old girl who is already housebroken and just wants to show you her tricks and snuggle with you. Please share Rocksee's post? She is hoping SOMEONE would rather spend time hanging out and snuggling with her than house training and cleaning up after a puppy 🙏 Rocksee DOES NEED to be an only dog due to her food guarding and she just really doesn't like other dogs. She's ok to pass them on leash, although she may still bark and pull in their direction. She really just deserves to be the only pet as this point in her life ❤️

This guy is very sweet, gentle, and just a happy dog. He likes to play and run, loves walks, and snuggling.
He is crate trained, house trained, knows and follows commands, doesn't pull leash when walking, and doesn't ever bark. He really is perfect.
He has never been aggressive in his life and is great with cats, kids, and other dogs.
We’ve had him since he was a puppy, and he's nine now. He still has a solid 5-6 years left.
This is very hard for us, but we have to move and can’t take him, nor do we know anyone that can.

Fitzgerald wanted to show everyone what a handsome boy he is! Still looking for a home where he can be the only feline friend, Or one who's humans do not mind feeding him separately from their other kitties and will keep food picked up after meals- Fitzgerald is a food thief! But he's a loveable affectionate food thief!!

Why hasn't ANYONE applied to adopt Fitzgerald?? This is one of the sweetest cats there ever was!! He just really loves food! He would have to be fed separate from other cats in the house because he's a food thief. Other than that he is a professional snuggler! Anyone would be LUCKY to have Fitzgerald!!

Fitzgerald is a LOVE BUG!! AND A POWER HEAD BUTT- ER!! He does not like to be picked up, but sit down and he WILL cuddle next to you. Fitzgerald may just be that kitty who wants to be your only love as far as fur kids go, OR you will HAVE TO BE ABLE TO feed him separately from another fur kid and keep food picked up, otherwise Fitzgerald thinks ALL FOOD IS HIS! This is a result of having lived outside for the first 7 - 8 months of his life and a learned behavior of eating food before other cats could get it, until a kind human got him and his sisters to safety. Other than that one downfall, Fitzgerald is a VERY SWEET boy weighing in at 11 lbs. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed and is ready for a stable, FOREVER loving home. When you adopt from our rescue we will go above and beyond to help make your life with your new fur kid safe and enjoyable. We have SO LITTLE free time between running a rescue, running a fast growing BUSY business, and working a full-time day job. But over the course of a few weeks we managed to donate and install a fence for one of our adopters. She adopted a young, high energy Maltese Mix who had been relinquished by a senior couple whose daughter brought her home, but they were tripping over her. Terri, the new adopter, was looking for a furry companion but soon found she was having to house break the pup who hadn't been leash trained either, ugh 😑. She did great with her new pup Gracie, trying to get her out on a leash to potty. But now it will be easier with a completely fenced yard. So please know, anything you donate to our rescue, will ALWAYS go towards keeping our adopted animals SAFE AND HEALTHY!!

Kella only has one more week left of her skin infection (Pyoderma) medication. No more itching and her hair is growing back nicely! We have to get her shots boostered and then she will be ready for adoption!! She keeps us laughing. She bounces or hops when she runs and is SO funny to watch when she gets the zoomies 🤣 She is almost perfect!! (needs a little help with walking on a leash, gets easily distracted by squirrels and pulls. We have also witnessed some food guarding, would have to be fed separately from another pet). She will lay on a pet bed beside your bed and will literally jump up to give kisses goodnight before she lays down and settles in. She is content with sitting beside you on a couch with her toy and getting her head scratched. We have really enjoyed getting to know this girl. Someone is going to get a phenomenal fur kid!! ❤️

This is one of the many reasons to get your male cat neutered. Mating is not a pleasant experience for the female and sparing her any hook up will be to her benefit.
One male can be responsible for 2500 kittens every year & we all cringe at the sound of males fighting over territory or females.
Then there's the injuries they sustain during those fights. That's if they don't get hit on the road while searching for females.
Give them all a break and get them spayed and neutered.

We pulled these 2 sweet seniors from Winnebago County Animal Services today!! They are a bonded pair. We hope they will be comfortable with us ❤️ It is always a great feeling when we help out our municipal shelter and we love working with them. Setting up a grooming appointment and vet appointment tonight or tomorrow ❤️

Telly is outta here!! Another Vet visit to try and get bloodwork and this time since he was feeling 100% better and with a little help from Trazadone, the staff was successful!! They were also able to give him his shots 😊 We picked up a pup cup on the way home but I think he was mad at me and didn't want it lol. Back home to his comfy bed ❤️

Our little Telly has completely recovered from the nasty upper respiratory infection. No more nasty green drainage from his eye either ❤️ He goes back to the vet on Wednesday for more testing to try and figure out if he has neurological issues, the reason for his stumbling, and to get some bloodwork going. He LOVES roaming the yard and sniffing everything. We just love this sweet boy 🥰

Tea is a very sweet girl who came to us with a sister and brother, Crumpets and Fitzgerald! Tea is still quite shy and doesn't really like to be picked up, but she still would love a human or two to call her own. Once she warms up with plenty of patience, she is very giving of her love and purrs 🥰 She is spayed, vaccinated and dewormed.
