Scottish fold cats are never bred together for ethical concerns, as offspring may be born with degenerative issues. Scottish fold cats are usually bred with either American shorthairs or British shorthairs. Since they’re always bred with other breeds, not all kittens in their litters will have folded ears. Subsequently, Scottish fold cats remain rather rare.

A kitten's life is all about play ... and play is all about prey. Kittens start to play when they are a few weeks old. If you look closely, you'll notice that you now have an itty-bitty hunter in your house....
Playing for just 20 minutes a day provides lots of mental stimulation and important exercise for your cat, plus you’ll be strengthening the bond between you both. Play is essential for indoor cats to make sure they use up the energy they’d normally use for patrolling their territory and hunting prey.
It’s also important to know that indoor cats might need a longer play time or a couple of play sessions spread across the day. But if you have more than one cat and they enjoy playing with each other, or if your cat is older and less active, a short play session should be plenty.
Your kitten or cat’s peak play time is usually in the early morning and the evening; therefore, you should make sure that you play with them before bedtime so that your kitten’s just as worn out as you are – this will also help to prevent them meowing at night.

But don't forget Cats just like humans, have a large population of bacteria (microbiome) in their intestines. These bacteria help to process food and a healthy population keep the cat healthy. High sugar levels reaching these bacteria provide an unusual energy source and can disrupt the microbiome causing diarrhoea.
High sugar products can also lead to dental disease.

Because the Scottish Fold personality is so sociable, these cats do not do well being left alone for long periods of time.
These cats have a very even temperament, meaning they are not abnormally active, but they are more energetic than just a lap cat. They are also sociable and friendly and enjoy playing games, exploring, and having some quality lap time with their family.
