Today was Physical Therapy , Occupational Therapy and Best of all, DOG Loving Therapy !!!!!
Thanks to Valerie Sands & Steve Sands for bringing my Rena Rena Ballerina to visit her mommy today . She was all glammed out and ready to put smiles on my face and heart! The best therapy ever!!!!!

I had a wonderful birthday doing what I love , Showing my Pekingese up in Lexington, Ky. Then our dearest friends took me to dinner for Mexican. Hubby even took me for Chinese at lunch which I love!!!

Beautiful Sunday morning here at the Kentucky Horse Park for the Bluegrass Cluster Dog Shows.

Our precious boy did well today with CH Klerkshof De Statesman taking Select & Owner Handler Best of Breed for a 5 point Major against some very nice competition!

There’s a part of the grieving process,
where your soul kind of leaves your body too.
As though it’s off searching for the one you lost,
somewhere in the ether.

You walk around,
doing all the right things,
putting one foot in front of the other,
living,
but it’s really as though you’re the ghost.

maybe it’s time to do what you are told,
go back and live,

My gracious we have had the BEST Seafood here in Charleston, Sc!!!!
Last night ( Friday ) we had a great meal at King Claw. Tommy had grilled Grouper and I had King Crab legs and 1/2 pound of headless shrimp boiled in Garlic butter sauce/ Tommy even assisted me in cracking the crab legs!! I believe the best I have ever had ❤️ then today we went to Fleet Landing down on the waterfront and had another fabulous late lunch-early dinner. I had Shrimp & Grits and Tommy had lightly Blackened Swordfish with Slaw and turnip greens. We also shared an appetizer of spinach, artichokes & cheeses that was unbelievably good.
Last but not least Pecan pie with vanilla bean ice cream 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️. Now we can’t move, lol.
It was a beautiful view- great food- great service too!
We are here for the Dog Show tomorrow & Sunday but we came a day early to enjoy the food and the city.

This is Great News!!!!

The AKC Staff has been able to contact Nestle´ Purina. Contrary to a number of social media posts, they do not have a factory in Ukraine, but we learned today they do have factories in Poland and Hungary. As a result, their European Purina team is taking the lead on this initiative. We obtained information from the office of Mark Schneider, CEO of Nestle´ Purina regarding their ongoing efforts to help the dog community. He states:
“Through our parent company Nestlé, we are working with local Red Cross organizations and food banks across Europe to send donations of food and beverages to those in need, and to hospitals. Our pet food businesses, are also providing support. For example, in Poland, Purina is working with our long-standing partner Foundation VIVA! Action for Animals and has supplied them with twenty-one tonnes of pet food for Ukraine. From Romania we are donating 35 tonnes of pet food to Banca de Alimente, (an NGO Food Bank) to reach displaced people and their pets near their borders.
We are also providing from Poland, Norway and Sweden approximately six tonnes of pet food to border crossings points to support people who have entered Poland with their pets and are in the process of coordinating further pet food donations centrally from our closest factories to Ukraine in Poland and Hungary.”
In addition the “Peace for Ukraine” apparel being offered on AKC’s store has generated $9,600 of profit over the past two days which is being donated in its entirety and we will continue to do so. The donation is being given to Casa lui Patrocle animal rescue, located 25 miles outside of the Ukraine offering shelter, veterinary care and emergency assistance to anyone crossing the border with pets.
We will continue to keep our fancy updated as facts become available.

Remember to be VERY Vigilant- especially when out walking your pet to change your routine often and have a plan just in case someone tries to steal them from you. There are many cases happening all over this country. Numerous reports of under world dog rings where purebred dogs are being stolen or kidnapped then their microchip cut out and resold.

It's important to remember that pet owners are aware of surroundings at all times. Pets have been stolen from homes, cars at gas stations, and at shows. This is a public service announcement
