Lone Star Underdogs Animal Rescue We are a 501c3 animal rescue located near Dallas, TX. We rescue pups from overcrowded shelters, dumped dogs, strays and owner surrenders in the DFW area.

All of our available pups are kept in loving foster homes until their furever homes are found!

Chloe is only 6 weeks old so she won’t be available to move to her furever home for two weeks, but if you’re interested, please get your application in now 🩷

Chloe currently weighs 2.4 lbs
Her mom, Cammie, is a chug (Chihuahua/Pug Mix and weighs 12 lbs.).
Chloe doesn’t really have a tail .. maybe a really really tiny one if you look really closely 🩷

Chloe is a sweet & cuddly little puppy! More chill than most of her siblings. She is a playful but also snuggly.
She also likes to play with her toys and wrestle with her brother, Cody and three sisters, Callie, Cora and Carly🩷

Please remember that puppies need a lot of time, patience, positive reinforcement, training and love. If you have that to give and want to meet Chloe, or one of her siblings, please submit an application!

Please also note, we do not adopt unvaccinated puppies to apartments/condos, the parvo risk is too high.

No small children - (Chloe is very small and could easily be hurt on accident).

Jax got a new coat, new foster home (resident pup at the original home wasn’t a fan of his size) and a new name 💙

So reintroducing this very sweet but very emaciated pup, Harrison.
He is eating a variety of food (based off our vets recommendations) in 5 smaller meals a day.

Harrison loved his car ride, loves his foster family and the two resident pups. He’s enjoying the affection and short walks (he is great on leash). He knows how to sit and is potty trained 💙

After a week, we have realized just how bonded these two girls are to each other🩷

We really want to try to keep them together!

We aren’t sure if they are sisters or if they are even related. The vet thought Gertie (black and tan) was about 1 - 1 1/2 yrs old and Gracie (dapple) was around 7 months old.

Gracie is 9 lbs.
When she’s lying down, she looks all dapple dachsund, but when she stands up, she has thin longer legs (like an Italian Greyhound) 🩷

Gertie is also 9 lbs and has shorter legs than Gracie. We think she looks more dachsund/terrier (best guess).

They were found abandoned but thankfully a nice neighbor got them to safety.

They are extremely sweet happy playful pups!
They love being a part of the family and
cuddling with their foster mom!

They love being outside with their people and the other pups, investigating everything that moves.
They are SO sweet… did I already mention that 🩷

They would love to be in a home where someone is home more than they are away!

Introducing our newest Underdog, Jax ❤️
Look at that precious face!

As you can see, Jax is severely emaciated.
Even though this boy needs a lot of healthy groceries, we got great news at the vets today!
He’s heartworm negative ❤️❤️ A New Year miracle!

He needs to gain at least 10 lbs and his hair needs to fill back in, but besides that, he’s a healthy 2 year old boy that is SO very sweet!
We believe he is a Britany Spaniel Mix. The vet said his tail didn’t stop wagging no matter what they were doing to him and he kept giving them his paw for some affection. ❤️

We will keep you updated on this sweet guy. He should be available for his furever home in a few weeks ❤️

Pupdate: Adopted 🩷

We’ve received a bunch of applications for this girl, but she really needs another young playful pup in the home 🩷

This very sweet little girl is Jasmine 💕
Please read her whole post before applying 🩷

Jasmine is almost 6 months old, currently weighs 13 lbs. and we believe she is a Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle Mix).

Jasmine is a happy girl who loves affection. She enjoys running around the yard and then cuddling on the sofa.

She gets along well with all of the other pups at her foster home and is a very playful pup!

Jasmine rides great in the car and loves being with her person 🩷
She really would love a home where her people are home more than away, will give her lots of exercise and attention and she needs another playful pup in the home. 🩷

We are also working on potty training but hopefully she’ll have it completely mastered soon.
