Lone Star Underdogs Animal Rescue We are a 501c3 animal rescue located near Dallas, TX. We rescue pups from overcrowded shelters, dumped dogs, strays and owner surrenders in the DFW area.

All of our available pups are kept in loving foster homes until their furever homes are found!

This scruffy cuteness is Ricky 💙

Ricky is a one year old Terrier mix who weighs 11 lbs.

Ricky is incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention. He is a very sweet boy!

Ricky does have some separation anxiety and would do best in a patient and loving home where he can continue to feel secure. A family where someone works from home would be ideal.

Ricky is also a huge movie buff and loves to binge the latest shows with his people 💙

This adorable boy is Ziggy 💙

Ziggy is a 4 yr old Schnauzer Mix (best guess) who weighs 18 lbs.

Ziggy loves to play outside, go for nice walks, run around the yard and relax on the patio.
He loves food time, chewies and treats!

Ziggy gets along well with the other pups in his foster home.
He also loves to be near his person cuddling and watching a good movie 💙

He would love to find a home where his person is home more than away (think Velcro pup 💙).

Rocket is a 2-year-old, Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix (best guess)who weighs 10 lbs.

Rocket has a calm personality and loves to relax and stay by his persons side (making him an amazing companion).

He is an easy going boy who is looking for a home where he will be cherished and given a lot of love and affection!

If you’re looking for a walking buddy or a movie cuddle bug, Rocket may be your boy!

This precious pup with the sweetest smile is Poppy 🩷

Poppy is a 6 year old Jack Russell/Rat Terrier Mix who weighs 13 lbs.

Poppy is so very sweet! She loves being a part of the family and getting lots of affection.
She gets along well with other pups and really loves kids.

She is such a loving girl!!

Poppy would love to be in a home where someone is home more than they are away 🩷
She would also love to have an active family that will give her a lot of playtime.

Cody is almost 8 weeks old, currently weighs 5.9 lbs and his legs are longer than his sisters.
His mom, Cammie, is a chug (Chihuahua/Pug Mix) who weighs 12 lbs. No idea on dad.
Cody also has the cutest little stubby tail 💙

Cody is the mischievous pup 🤣
If you hear something going on, he’s typically in the middle of it.
He likes to explore but then likes cuddling on his foster mom’s lap.
He also likes to play with his toys and wrestle with his four sisters, Cora, Carly, Callie and Chloe🩷

This sweet little girl is Chloe 🩷

Chloe is almost 8 weeks old and currently weighs 4 lbs (she’s the smallest in her litter).

Her mom, Cammie, is a chug (Chihuahua/Pug Mix and weighs 12 lbs.). No idea on dad.
Chloe doesn’t really have a tail .. maybe a really really tiny one if you look really closely 🩷

Chloe is a sweet & cuddly little puppy! More chill than most of her siblings. She is a playful but also snuggly.

Pixie is a 10 week old pitbull mix and currently weighs about 7 1/2 lbs. (she was the runt in her litter).

Pixie is a sweet & sassy little girl with a big personality. She is a playful curious little girl who likes to explore and check things out.
She loves to be the center of attention and loves to get smothered with kisses and affection! Pixie is the best snuggler!!💕

This handsome little hunk is Marco 💙

Marco is a 4 1/2 year old smooth coat Dapple Dachshund who weighs 12 lbs.

He is the happiest boy who loves affection. He enjoys running around the yard, going on car rides and then cuddling on the sofa.

He loves the resident kids, their other pups and loves going on walks!

Marco is a very sweet boy looking for a family that wants to spoil him!

He is also totally crate trained and potty trained.

Reintroducing these sweet boys 💙
We had previously posted them separately, but we just can’t do it, they are bonded buddies and really want to stay together 💙
