Both are amazing eaters. The female has been handled alot and is fairly calm. The male needs alittle more manners. Honestly I just told James i am ready to keep all the boas. So imma need yall to get some Christmas babies before the last few are named. Lol BTW the female's name is Malice!!

This is one of our holdbacks. This is Mervyn! He is a boa. Last night I got him out for "pet training". Which is me holding the snake against his will while baby talking him and telling him to pretend he is a ball python. LOL! All of our holdback boas are doing amazing. I get into their enclosure 90 times a day, and just move my hands around weird, touch their noses, touch them. None of them have strike responses. The lighting doesn't do his color justice!

I got bit yesterday. I debated on even posting it but I want to show/explain bites and how it was MY fault. This is Yesera, she is a female we got in Sept. She is a Lesser ball python. She has been food responsive since we have had her, AGAIN that's not a sign of aggression. She just wants to eat. Yesterday, I spent the majority of the morning rolling around in the rat bins changing bedding! Even after washing my hands up to my shoulders. I felt/smelt like a straight rat! James was on the tail end of cleaning snake bins and I came in just in time to be handed this girl who pretty much assumed she found the biggest rat on the property!. She struck and immediately released! I continued to hold her because at this point she realized she was being held and I was a yucky human and not a delicious rat.
Where it was MY fault.
I smelt amazing like lunch. Believe me I am not bragging there is a reason the overalls come off immediately at the house!
AND I didn't give her time to process being held. I grabbed her like the last bag of chips on the shelf!

It didn't hurt, just surprised me.
She chilled out immediately and I continued to hold her/ take a pic with her.
Will she bite me again? Possibly? Will I get rid of her because of it? No.
Am I afraid of her now? No!

I had kept these three nakeds. Two females and a male. (Unrelated) To use for breeding pet quality NAKEDS! They wont produce. They have been handled some and are not bity. I think with a small amount of work they would be great pets. They are adults.. I want them to go together and a small rehoming. Figured I would try this option first.
