Lowplaces Harley, AKA Hemi, AKA Roadrunner
(3/17/2012 - 3/9/2023)
The Savannah community lost one of its most amazing members yesterday. He passed away at home in the presence of his human family, knowing he was well loved.
Harley was an F2 Savannah with amazing presence. He was the son of a calico spotted F1 who was well known throughout the Savannah world.
He left his original home, and escaped from a dorm room at the University of Tennessee, and was found wandering the streets of Knoxville, and taken to the shelter. They reached out to Savannah Rescue, and also to me as his breeder, after scanning for a microchip.
His family did not feel capable of capable of caring for him any more, so a new home was found, and he spent the next few years living the good life in a Miami penthouse with Linda Hamstead . Due to declining health, Linda had to reluctantly part with Harley, and he traveled back to Tennessee to bring joy to a new family.
Harley was predeceased by his mother, the incomparable Belle hollow Talladega of Lowplaces, and his sister Lowplaces Dove. He is survived by his father Couturecats Rockingham of Lowplaces (Reno, NV), his brother Sedona (Washington), several half siblings and cousins throughout the US and Canada, and his human mom Regina Ratliff , and his human brother Cameron (Kingsport, TN).
RIP Harley. ππΎπΎπ
