We had a great turnout at the festival in Muldrow yesterday! Thank you to all who donated and came by to meet us and some of our dogs! Enjoyed getting to meet all of you and thank you so much for your support!!

This corgi has a mom looking for him. If anyone has him please contact Sylver Dawn or PM and I’ll get you in touch with her. Might have been picked up at dollar general going from Roland up towards Liberty.

He has been reunited with his family!!

This sweet and confused old man was picked up by Roland animal control today on the side of Hwy 64 in front of autofinders. We couldn’t leave him at the shelter so we’re taking care of him until the owners are found.

Update: she found a forever home!!
1 yr old Anatolian Shepard/ Great Pyrenese mix spayed female UTD on all shots and preventatives available for adoption. Would make a great livestock guardian dog. Please pm if interested and can get you in touch with her foster.

We want to thank you all for donating towards Laramie (previously gas station dog) heart worm treatment. We got things started today and she is looking forward to being HW free and praying for a new life! Thank you for helping me save her life ❤️🙏she sure would love a nice home with a family even if it’s just a short term foster where she could rest and continue with her treatment. She loves everyone!

TYMBER
1 1/2 neutered male. Heartworm Negative and UTd on all shots and preventatives. Found dumped at the Arkansas River as a baby. Despite living at the shelter his whole life he is SO happy!!! He loves everyone, kids, men/women and other dogs. He’s a good boy, he loves water. He is happy being an outside dog. It’s all he’s ever known but he truly deserves more. He would love an active family who would take him camping, hiking or anything adventurous! Please come meet him he would make the perfect addition to your family. Videos in comments. Please share!

This is so sad but true. Make your pets a priority, remember you mean everything to them.

When you surrender your dog to a shelter—
because he got lost,
because you're moving and he can't keep up with you,
because your new home doesn't accept pets,
or simply because you've grown tired of him—
this is what he does…

He sits there,
waiting for you to come back.
Hours. Days. Months…

He doesn't want toys,
or treats,
or rewards,
or even food.
He only wants you.

If you can't,
or won't,
make a permanent commitment,
then please,
never, ever, ever consider adopting one.
