To our loyal followers, it has been a bit since we last posted anything on the page. It was a busy season and the best we've had thus far. Lots of changes have occurred though since last season. The biggest of which is we have moved from Missouri to the North woods of Wisconsin. Apologies to our Missouri folks but it was a tough decision to make. But, this is where we are supposed to be. We are still settling in to our new home but look forward to the upcoming hunting season and hope to provide skull work services to hunters here in Wisconsin. As the season draws closer we will be posting more along with a new price listing. We will keep you posted.

The deer season is winding down but we still have until mid January. In the meantime we are still working on skulls and turning them around as quickly as we can. Here are a couple more that just headed out the door to join their new family. Good luck to you all with the remainder of Missouri deer season. Keep us in mind if you want to preserve that memory for years to come.

It's been a while since we last posted. Life has been crazy for us like it is for so many. Hoping this post finds you all well and eager for the upcoming season. Our numbers were down last year, but the deer numbers in Missouri were down as well. That's ok, we are preparing for the new season and are anxiously awaiting what it will bring. Like many of you, we hunt too, and have began our preparations like getting our bows ready, shooting regularly, food plot preparations, and having deer cameras out and scanning through photos. It's an exciting time, that we wait all year for. We want to wish you all a safe and successful deer season. Contact us if you wish to preserve that memory for years to come.

This is what I love to see. A young hunter with his first buck. This deer was a bit of a challenge since it was hit in the head and was missing a lot of its bone material. Nothing like preserving that memory and sharing it with everyone. Congrats young man!

T-minus 5 days until opening day of rifle in Missouri!!! Who's ready for the main event?! It is what a lot of hunters wait all year for. Hunting is a pastime that is passed down from generation to generation. Traditions make us feel closer to the ones we share the tradition with. It's something tangible that we can look back on to remember holidays and important events. It reminds us of the generations that came before us and provides a connection to why we hunt. The first youth weekend in Missouri starts on Saturday. It's that time to allow youngsters to hunt and gain valuable experience without competing against adults. Make the most out of the time you get to spend with your kids. Especially in today's society, I feel like it is so important to encourage kids to get away from their screens and take time to get outside, get their hands dirty, breathe fresh air and enjoy the playground that nature has to offer. Make those memories last by dropping your deer off at Ghost of the Woods Taxidermy. You will forever be able to look at that deer and think of the story. Good luck to all the youth this weekend.

Greetings my fellow deer connoisseurs. It has been sometime since I've posted anything on here. It was a busy season last year and between work and cleaning skulls it didn't leave me a lot of time for updates.
