Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Cupcakes for Dogs

Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (ensure it is xylitol-free)
- 1/2 cup pure pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 large egg

Frosting:
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a mini muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease it.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and ground cinnamon.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the applesauce, peanut butter, pumpkin puree, water, and egg until well combined.
4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until the batter is smooth and fully mixed.
5. Scoop the batter evenly into the prepared mini muffin tin, filling each about 2/3 full.
6. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
7. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool completely on a wire rack.

For the Frosting:
1. In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter and Greek yogurt until smooth and creamy.
2. Once the cupcakes are fully cooled, pipe or spread the frosting on top of each cupcake.

Storage:
Store the cupcakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or freeze them (without frosting) for up to 3 months.
