$12.00+tax per adult (16yrs and up)
$10.00+tax per child (2yrs-15yrs)
Under 2yrs is free! (Weekends only until June 24th..then open daily for the summer)

No Pets Allowed. No smoking on zoo grounds. Only feed the animals food that we provide.

New to the zoo! Meet Pistachio, a 4 year old male Saker Falcon. Pistachio came to us a few months ago from a facility that had closed down. He was exposed to West Nile when he was under a year old, and while he did recover from the illness, it left him visually impaired. It took time to fully assess his health and to plan out what would become his permanent home, but we finally finished the project and have him out for viewing! He is doing very well learning to navigate around his new enclosure. He will need to memorize where everything is, because it is very possible that his eyesight will continue to decline as he ages. Over the summer we asked for donations to help us in this endeavor and we just wanted to say thank you to everyone that contributed. We couldn't have done it without your support! Make your plans to visit Pistachio this weekend! We are open Saturdays and Sundays 10am-4pm until the end of October. www.fortrickey.com

Next Saturday, October 11th, 10am-4pm, is our Annual Crafts at the Zoo event! We have over 40 local craft vendors signed up and ready to share their unique handmade treasures with you! We will also have food trucks, Squishy's BBQ, Little Jordanos, JoJos Empanadas, Oldies & Goodies, Oh Crepes and Waffles, all on site! Enjoy a magic show at 12pm and a live performance by T-Swift from Caits Character Corner at 1pm! Best part? Admission is only $8.00 per person, this day only!! See you there!

In a world dominated by video screens, it is important to provide children opportunities to get outdoors and connect with nature. At Fort Rickey, children are encouraged to feed the deer, cuddle with the baby goats and pet the shiny scales of a python or the prickly quills of a porcupine.
