Are you interested in taking your new dog to training and helping him grow into a great companion? Hammie may be the one for you! At the shelter Hammie has worked very hard to learn how to interact with people without getting overstimulated. He is very proud of all the dog manners he has learned, and of course treats have been a way to his heart! Hammie is an all white medium mixed breed dog, who will take all that energy and gladly will play ball with you. This holiday we hope you can open your heart and home to a shelter dog like Hammie! Until December 24th, Hammie and all our other dogs have half off adoption fees. Come on by and meet them! We are open Tuesday through Saturday 11-4:30.

🐶 Senior Dog Alert ! 🐶

This is Blaze, our oldest dog currently in the kennel! This handsome man is a husky mix, and he is around 10 years old. We would love for him to find his furever home, as the older dogs deserve the comfort of a home. Interested in Blaze? Come stop by! We are open 11-4:30 Tuesday-Saturday and our kennel attendant would love to tell you more about him.

Last week Zoey and Evie went to a lesson with Toffee and they did so well! Toffee of course, was awesome. Bottom photos- Toffee completed his training and passed his AKC Star Puppy Certification! Mason and Jessica have worked hard with him and he is already an amazing dog at only 16 weeks! Congratulations to all of you!

Porkchop is very excited to let all of you know how much our dogs LOVE Kongs!

Not only do kongs provide a treat for the dogs, they also provide enrichment and entertainment for some of the shelter dogs. They keep them busy and hard at work that’s for sure! We could use more large kongs or the larger sized wobble kongs. Thank you for your generosity and for continuing to donate to our shelter!
