It is with a very heavy heart to share that we have a loss... 💔
I always go into taking these babes in knowing they have so many odds stacked against them & may not make it. You give them love every minute of every day and hope for the absolute best. But it still always hurts when they do leave you.
Johnny not only had a cleft palate but also hydro. And that's what we seen physically, who knows internally. Its been a bit touchy the last couple days but today he declined rather quickly and passed this evening.
He left being cuddled up on my chest, kissed on and knowing only love. 💙Fly high little angel💙

Ok friends, we could use some more supplies!
Miss. June will be moving on to ✌️"stage 2" of fostering soon with Tanya as she is just THRIVING💪 and soon searching for her new 🏡home! And with this stage, Tanya needs some inventory stocked up to make sure June has all she needs.
Johnny will be staying with Lisa a bit longer as he still needs more specialized care. He not only has a cleft palate but he has hydrocephalus (fluid on his brain). He isn't as sturdy and strong as his sister but he's a fighter none the less😍
If you could be so 🫶kind, take a look at our list. ✔️Pee pads- both disposable AND washable, ✔️some leads, ✔️formula, ✔️heartbeat buddies.... OR maybe you've got some 💡idea that we haven't thought of!

After running amuck through the living room with foster Sissy Raven trying to share toys with them that are 2-3x the size of them, booping them in the faces with said toys. And then Beetle shoving them around with his nose, to this duo of trouble taking turns biting at BOTH Raven & Beetle... it is now cuddle time

Johnny and June are becoming such the pair. Personalities are starting to shine through more and more every day! June has become quite sassy and even starting to try and tackle her brother every so often playing while he tries to eat lol
Johnny, he's a wobbly little one. Bright eyed and curious as ever, just a bit slower paced then his sister.
Both are eating quite well, although I am tubing a bit still a few times a day as they're not gaining weight as well as we'd like.
More pics will be posted as we can, lol they don't make it easy🤣 hence so many sleepy photos

If anyone would like to help in any way. We do have an Amazon list. We're ALWAYS in need of p*e pads. Either Lisa Biliti Louk or Tanya Dostine Schwendenmann can try to meet up with anyone for blankets, towels, supplies, carriers, etc- just reach out to either of us.

Officially 8 days old today🥰
Johnny and June are doing good. June is gaining little by little and gets fiestier by the day. Johnny is holding steady close to birth weight😔 Thought we had the regurge under control for a couple days and now we're back at it with almost every feeding. So it's extra long cuddles after feedings and as much time in the incubator and O2 to keep a closer eye on him...

Extra love and prayers for these 2... and for me if you have any to spare lol

5 days old now.... Johnny & June
🌟Johnny is still holding strong at 11.7oz. Regurged a few times the first couple days so I had to adjust a bit how I did things with him but now we're back on track😍
🌟June is now a whopping 13.2oz! She is a noisy one too! We've got some swelling going on on a couple of her paws, mainly her 1 rear but we've got her on some clavamox (as well as Johnny for the regurging) and using some antibiotic ointment.

Other then that, safe to say so far- these 2 are doing so well!

As always, we're crossing our fingers and doing everything we can for the littles that come into our care. And we are beyond appreciative for all the shares, support, love, light and prayers- keep them coming! 🐶

🌟🌟WE HAVE NEW LITTLES!🌟🌟

These 2 sweet babies came into our care today just a few hours after their debut to the world. The owner was not comfortable nor familiar and wanted to give them the best chance possible.

🐶Current details:
🔹️Male 11.5oz and female 12.5oz siblings born TODAY September 8th, 2023 via csection.
🔹️Both have cleft palates, but relatively mild.
🔹️They're gonna be petite when they get older - often being labeled as "Micro Bullies"
🔹️They're a lively pair. Being tube fed every 2 hours and handling it all very well so far. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for this duo

Everyone please wish WINSTON (charming) and VERY HAPPY SECOND BIRTHDAY!🎊🎊🎊🎊

This lil frenchie was a struggle for a bit and on top of having a cleft palate he was diagnosed- thankfully early enough- with hydrocephalus. Bit with meds and careful monitoring and all the extra love- JUST LOOK AT HIM😍
He is living his BEST life with one of the greatest families! It was this little one that made his mama, Tanya, join Lisa with her mission with Nikos Crew to help these babies that would other wise never be given a chance

Lisa took for a short adventure in the front yard... he is just TOOO DANG CUTE😍💙 His personality is shining through more and more everyday and is bound to be one that anyone will fall in love with- and quickly! We are officially on kibble exclusively and drinks great out of a regular dish. Couple more weeks and we will be accepting applications for adoption. So if you are interested, please let us know⭐️⭐️

Over the weekend we attempted transitioning to soaked kibble. We lost a little weight so we are back to tubing ammnd some bottle feedings so we can gain the little bit we lost and then some. We will try again this coming weekend with some gruel.
On another note- WE'VE GOT SOME CHOMPERS🥹And boy does he know how to use them lol

Hancock is TWO WEEKS OLD today💙 He is now weighing 28.2 oz😳🥹 and as you can tell, someone's eyes are OFFICIALY OPEN! (And the puppy breath has set in🥰) He has some teeth wanting to break gums soon, he'll be started on kibble in about a week... and oh man he's such a feisty little guy

Hey Niko Crew fans!!!! We need some help! We love taking care of these babies but in order to do that we have a lot of expenses. Hancock our newest crew member needs a lot more food than others because he is going to be a big boy!! We had to buy a larger scale because he needs to be weighed daily to insure he is getting enough. We r in need of p*e pads and formula if you can help donate any of these items please let us know we have Venmo or we can pick up!! Hancock is now 21.5oz!!! Taking feedings like a CHAMP still! Hes always hungry, moving and making SOME kinda noise lol. Wednesday he will be TWO✌️WEEKS old🥺❤️
And keep YOUR eyes p*eled here is next couple days probably cause HIS are starsting to open 😍

1 week 1 day old and Hancock is getting not and more difficult to take a photo of🤣
He's so squirmy lol... unless he's out like a light belly up like the last photo🤣
He is weighing 19oz- 2 more then when we took him on. Not a huge amount but it's better then nothing. He's taking his tube feedings very well and I can't wait to see what these next couple weeks bring💙
