🐾 FOSTER NEEDED !! 🐾

Meet this handsome guy, Sturgis

Unfortunately, Sturgis is having a hard time adjusting at his current foster home. They have tried everything to get him to come around, but he still having issues and he needs someone who can give him the space, but also the love that he needs. He doesn’t really like a kennel due to the fact that he was probably stuck in one for most of his life. He’s also heartworm positive and is looking for a warm calm place to rest his head. We did take him to the vet to double check his heartworm and he does have to go through treatment so we will need a foster for at least 6 to 8 months so he can get that taken care of. He also needs someone who’s willing to be patient with him. If you are that person I would love to give a dog who hasn’t really had a good life. A chance this is your opportunity. MZPR will cover all vet bills, and any of his heartworm medication for as long as he is in foster and as long as he has a negative heartworm treatment once he’s done, he will need to go to the vet periodically so this is not for everyone. Here in the Pomatto home, we're beaming with joy, caring for these 3 little foster furballs alongside the lovable big guy Mike! All 4 of these precious dogs were rescued from southern shelters, where they faced an uncertain fate. Thankfully, they're now thriving and fully up-to-date on their shots, with Mike proudly neutered. We're eagerly anticipating a new litter of 6 bundles of joy, and our hearts long to see our current pup residents snuggled up in their forever homes for the holidays, making room for the incoming little ones. Also joining the MZPR family is Easy E, he is a 7 year old Old English Bulldog that had been so very loved and cared for! Easys family has had a change in careers and have realized that Easy deserves more love and attention than they’re able to give. We just got news that we need to place Sturgis into a new Foster home. Unfortunately it is not working out where he is and we’d really like to give this guy a fighting chance at a great home!

PLEASE, if you can foster this guy we will cover any and all costs!

He truly needs one on one, and to be the only dog in the home, he is heart worm positive, and we plan to begin that treatment as soon as possible! We would need the Foster home to be willing to take him to Vet appointments, and be sure his Heart Worm treatment is completed.

I wanted to take a second to thank a very special person who loves animals just as much as we do at Mzpr his name is John Hann. He is the owner of Care Creamation/Free Pet Creamation in Romeoville, IL. He has been one of our number 1 supporters and a very humble man. We met a year ago when I needed a few dogs cremated that had died of old age and sickness. I had no where to turn and Stephanie Manchess mentioned him. I called John and he him self answered the phone. I explained the situation and he said come on by and bring the animals I needed to be cremated. When I shook John’s hand I could feel his compassion for animals along with humans, we talked for about 45 min and he listened to all the stories about each animal that had passed. I asked him how much it would be knowing that I was probably facing about 1500 dollars in cremation fees. His exact words were let’s talk about that when we are done cremating them . I said ok a week later he called and said they were ready for pick up. Dreading the fact that we didn’t have a ton of money to use for this I said ok and as I walked in he said here you go. I asked how much he said it was on the house I said no way I have to give you something his words… you have you have given me hope for the animals and to keep doing good work as I walked out the door it began a wonderful friendship along with other stories and conversations about life John and his wife even adopted a dog from us!!! Skip to this yr I had a few more dogs who needed to be cremated and he said bring them in along with Oso the Frenchie that passed I told him I would like a nice box for Oso and I asked how much and he said again dont worry about it. John and his wife have donated over 5000 dollars to our organization to help these dogs and to pay for vet bills and care for the animals. John I can never repay you so I just wanted to come on here and say thank you so much for everything u are a true hero.
