Buck Brook Alpacas is a 38 acre alpaca farm nestled in the Western Catskills in Sullivan County, New York two hours from New York City.

Buck Brook Alpacas strives to raise alpacas in a comfortable and environmentally friendly setting while promoting agriculture within the region and inspiring and educating customers on the benefits of farming. The farm specializes in fiber production from its herd of Huacaya Alpacas. The herd consists of over 30 male and female alpacas of a variety of colors: black, brown, fawn, grey, and white.
The fiber produced is hypoallergenic, and the herd is fed a predominantly organic diet. Our two herd sires are an award winner and a descendant of champion blood lines, both available for breeding. The farm also provides alpaca boarding. Building the Herd
Buck Brook Alpacas began in 2013 through the procurement of alpacas from Nature’s Reserve alpaca farm in Callicoon, NY. Many of our animals produce award-winning fibers which are available for sale as roving and yarn. Several of our award-winning males are also available for sire. Our Farm Store currently offers pumpkins, gourds, and alpaca gold manure beans. The farm will grow to offer alpaca products including yarn, hats, scarves, socks, rugs and blankets as well. ⚠️ Today, August 10th, Buck Brook will be open; however, please proceed with caution as you travel to the farm. Due to the aftereffects of Hurricane Debbie, some of the roads leading to the farm may be impassable and we do not have electricity or running water. Please allow extra time to get to the farm, as it is very wet and muddy. That said, remember to dress appropriately 🥾
Thank you for your understanding and patronage. The sun is supposed to come out today, so conditions will continue to improve throughout the day.

Our 4-H group will have a show demonstrating the breed, an obstacle performance, and a fleece exhibit on site.

Had a great time walking around yesterday with the adorable Razzle Dazzle the alpaca 🦙💛 Got 2 alpaca gifts from the gift shop, the big alpaca doll has wool from Buster Brown the alpaca, and the mini alpaca doll has wool from Ginger the alpaca 😊

The lovely Nina! Lot 15 in this year’s Parade Of Champions Auction on June 1 in North Salem, NY. Nina will make a great foundation female she comes from exceptional genetics. Her fleece is highly uniform with superior staple length. She is well grown and reached 100lbs by 10 months of age. Her dam is one of our best production females and we expect Nina to be the same. She sells with her maiden breeding to multi-champion Crescent Moon’s Kemmaus or Supreme Champion Snowmass Astrologer! Nina will produce black as will both these sires!
