Our mission is to provide temporary refuge, basic veterinary care and a pathway home for companion animals who are homeless in Douglas County so that we may create a more humane community. Beyond the basics, each animal receives compassionate care from our staff and volunteers while they wait to be reunited with their families or to find a new home. Warm blankets, toys and treats, time spent socializing with caring people; all are a part of the animalsโ€™ experience at Saving Grace. We look forward to growing along with our community and being able to offer more programs geared towards keeping pets and their people together.

Here is some info about Missy they provided: Estimated to be 5 years old - Missy is a very silly, and loving cat. Her demeanor is shy while she gets comfortable, but as soon as she is she'll show you with purrs, biscuits & and a blep of her tongue. She loves to play but also loves to relax in the sun. ๐Ÿฑ๐ŸŒž

Meet Duke, our beloved longest resident! Since August, Duke has been patiently awaiting his forever home, and his heart is bursting with love to share! This sweet and charismatic boy is eager to find his perfect match. Duke thrives in the great outdoors, but he's just as content snuggled up on the couch with his favorite human. His affection knows no bounds, and he's ready to shower his new family with endless love and loyalty. If you're ready to open your heart and home to Duke, come meet him at our shelter! We're open Tuesday through Saturday from 12 PM to 6:30 PM, and no appointments are needed. Let's make Duke's dreams come true together!

Wow!!! ๐Ÿคฉ Major THANK YOU to PetSafe Brand for sending two palettes of goodies for our pets to enjoy! Our dogs tails are wagging in excitement at all the fun new enrichment toys. We are so excited to not only hand these out to our shelter pets but to share items, like the waterproof sweaters, to pets without housing at our Mobile Pet Food Bank! Thank you PetSafe!!! ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿพ
