Well CGR Performance Alpacas competed at the ORVLA Classic ILR Championship show yesterday. We didn't place a lot but I'm proud of what we did. The adult classes at 62 people in them. Deb Bergmann Took an 8th in Showmanhsip with kokopele Zephyr and I took a 6th in Novice Public Relations with Superstitions Grand Finale. Anthony and Kokopele Xeno took three 10ths and a 9th in Senior. Really tough competition with barely any errors on course. I'm glad I wasn't a judge!

2024 alpaca National show entries are sent and completed, hotel is booked, that appointment for health certificates is scheduled! Cannot wait to return to Indiana and see what we can do this year! I have a completely different team than the last time we won in Indiana in 2018.

Kokopel xeno was also a new addition to the herd and distantly related to Stevie. Can you tell? Trainability and thay square, perfect conformation with soft eyes. Anthony and xeno kicked butt and both had so much try in them for their second ever time in the ring in performance.

Who doesn't know this duo? Lucky and sky have grown up on the ranch. They were a bit offended this is the first show they didn't come home with a trophy, not even a ribbon but the competition was steep and we all have bad days :)
