Are you ready to add a new furry family member? Here’s why Path of Hope Rescue is different than other rescues and shelters.

• You can truly rescue a puppy or momma dog! We pull our dogs from dire situations in the Southern United States, many are straight from the euthanasia list with days left to live.

• All our dogs enter loving foster homes immediately upon arrival in Spokane. They learn basic obedience and socialization skills and are showered with love while waiting for adoption.

• You’ll get to know the amazing Foster Family that helped start your new fur baby on their Path of Hope.

• Matchmaker Assistants will verify that your home is ready for a new furry friend by checking vet records and collecting landlord approvals (if applicable).

• You’ll receive a dedicated matchmaker to connect your family with the right pup. They will work closely with you through your entire adoption journey.

• You’ll get a Meet-and-Greet with your matched pup to learn their personality and see them interact in their Foster Home.

• All our pups go on an In-Home Trial to make sure it’s the right fit; 2 days for puppies and 1 week for adults.

• We offer Post-Adoption support. We have a team of volunteers that are ready to answer any questions or address concerns once you bring your furry friend home. We also have two amazing Preferred Trainers that work closely with PHR and offer classes and personal training sessions.

• We stand by our dogs for life!

When you adopt from Path of Hope Rescue, not only are you saving a pup who otherwise would have been euthanized down South, but you’re also gaining a community of dog lovers who will support you throughout your journey! You’ll become a member of the PHR Pack and family.
