7/28 Update: Still in need of a foster or adopter!

Of all the dogs on the URGENT List. I feel like Ashford will be the one passed by. He doest’t have a sad intake story, he doesn’t have a special need. He’s a dog that’s landed on hard times, found himself in a municipal shelter and passed by. If you only share one dog a day, choose Ashford he’s going to need it the most

Ashford’s List is scheduled 7/22/24 2 pm.

Ashford is a friendly dog. He loves to be around people and he’s dog friendly (see the video in comments)
Ashford is a happy, wiggly, pup who is struggling inside the kennel. The shelter environment wears on the dogs especially the playful ones. They thrive on human and dog friends interaction. This is something they do not get much of in the kennels. Please help us get Ashford out of the shelter before his time comes.

Some one help her , she was brought up to the shelter in the back of a pick up truck while the humans rode in the AC 😡shelter has no room and a high kill shelter please contact me if rescue can help this is urgent , the look of riding in crate in the bed of a truck 😡

Wow! What a great month of May with all our wonderful supporters dropping recycling items off at Pacific Steel and Recycling. We really mean it when it all adds up—most of the line items were small donations but added together, totaled 20 pages of deposits, accounting for $738.50 last month!

She’s been waiting so long she’s now on the Watch List 😞. This doesn’t mean she’s on a schedule urgent list but what it does mean is she will be if we don’t get her out asap.

Miss Potato Head We love her❤️, one of our members took these pictures of her when she first came to the shelter. She is so cute,and at the time so wiggly happy. But as she has sit in the kennel being passed by daily. She’s give me a hope. you can see her when you walk by. Why would she even look up if you’re not not going to choose her? (Pic in the comments)

We really thought she would get adopted quickly. But she has become one of the longest stay dogs now and at risk of giving up her kennel with upcoming urgent lists.

Miss Potato Head is not only a volunteer favorite but a staff favorite to. She’s been on her best behavior during her shelter stay. She is dog friendly. And loves people, she climbs in your lap for snuggles! She deserves to find a home where she is a loved companion. If you can’t adopt please foster or give her a break with doggie dates.
