Update: we have a couple of potential adopters lined up. If we haven't responded, please be patient. We have been overwhelmed with responses. Thank you for your interest in Hannah. Hopefully we will have puppies before summer.
SHELTIE ADOPTION OPPORTUNITY!!!
Meet Hannah. Hannah is a 9 months old blue merle sheltie, bred here on our farm.
Hannah has been relinquished to our care due to her owner having health issues crop up. We are looking to place her to take that stress off of her former owner and to keep Hannah from possibly going to a shelter.
Hannah is house broken, crate trained, spayed, is UTD on her shots, and has had her dew claws removed. She is used to a fenced yard and has been an indoor pooch. Her formerowmer tells me she is a sweet girl who is busy, loves her toys, and plays well with others. She has a more dominant personality, so a meet and greet with other dogs may be wise, but she has done fine with their 3 Aussies and 2 other shelties. (I will note, there have been no issues with our Maltese and our 10 week old sheltie puppy. They've been fine together since she arrived.) She has been exposed to their house cat but shows a potentially unhealthy interest in their cat, so cats are not recommended. This is NOT why they are relinquishing her. They've chosen to keep them separated to prevent any incidents. She loves children. She was raised with our children and with the former owner's grandchildren.
She comes with her vet paperwork, AKC registration papers, and anything we have for her.
There IS an adoption obligation. We are not keeping any of this except for any advertising expenses incurred. Any proceeds will go straight to the former owner to help ease their burden with upcoming medical expenses.
If anyone is interested in meeting this sweet girl, please reach out to me. Transport is available for an additional fee.
