Saltgrass Retrievers in Winnie, TX is seeking to fill a position for a part time/full time kennel assistant with the option to grow into an assistant trainer for the right person. Hours can be flexible but will require working some weekends and holidays.
Duties will include but are not limited to, the cleaning and care of dogs & facilities, assisting in the training of retrievers in the field which will include operating an ATV, throwing plastic bumpers as well as live and dead birds for the dogs to retrieve. You will also be required to help with care/maintenance of grounds and equipment to include mowing, washing vehicles, kennels and dogs.

Applicants must enjoy working with dogs year around in all types of weather. Must be reliable, punctual, able to follow directions and be self-motivated. Good attention to detail and cleanliness are a must. Applicant must maintain a neat appearance and be able to communicate in a clear and professional manner. Must be drug free, with clear criminal background. Pay starts @ $12 /hr., increases based on applicant’s abilities, experience, and performance. Apply via text or email,
