Our Golden Story

We had a male golden, Chase, when our daughter Faith was born. When Faith was two, we added a female golden to our family, Goldie. Faith and Goldie were inseparable. That sweet dog would do anything for Faith. And believe me, Faith had her do some funny things: wear her sunglasses, walk with shoes on her front feet, dress up in a dress and hat, ...and the giggles of that little g

irl!!! Chase and Goldie had puppies on our farm a couple years later. We sold all but two, Rex and Rachel. Then a friend had a female golden they couldn't keep due to a move, so with Bridgette we had five goldens. When our dear Chase passed away, we wanted a new Daddy dog. That's how Gunner joined our family. Now, Faith was five years old and we gave her the responsibility of taking care of the dogs. Her older brother, Matthew, and older sister, Bethany, had pigs and calves for 4-H and Faith felt she should have a "project" too. So began this girl's "college fund", raising Golden Retrievers. Today, Faith is out of college, all paid for because of the joy of raising puppies each year. It has been a pleasure getting to know some wonderful people along the way...some complete strangers have become sweet friends through this relationship. Well, now Mom has taken over the "business" so to speak. It is in my blood. Faith left me with Gunner, Penny Belle, Bandit, Benjamin Button, and Macy Carmella. When I have had grandchildren, I have added a new puppy. Eyra Grace has Ruby, Maksim Titus has Copper, Kilian Grey has Rosebud, Leighton Audrey has Jasmine, Lainey James has Noel, and Jace Toren has Skye. We adopted Montana as well. It is fun to see the smiles and sparkle in my grandchildren's eyes when we have puppies on the farm. Puppies and Grandkids. Life just can't get any better than this! Hence April's Goldens ...

One of the sad scam schemes, especially recently is stealing pictures from my or my friends' puppy pages and getting people to send deposits but never having those puppies for them. The innocent buyer had the money "stolen" from them.
Please make sure the page and person you are dealing with is legit. Text frequently, even smart to call and personally ask good questions, and offer to visit their home or farm before sending deposit (especially with money apps when you don't get a physical address), (if they want you to send to a PO Box, that may be a red flag too). I am very sad that scammers will do this. I want everyone to be careful and get a beautiful puppy for their money!

Deworming day is always a treat for my little "vets". Jace still wants help, but Maksim says he can do it by himself.

We decided this last litter of '24 will be the Y & Z litter. The girls will have Y names and the boys will have Z names.
The kids think they have the boy names decided upon, but we need help with two more girl names that start with a "Y". Can you help them with ideas?

We want to thank everyone for your overwhelming support in helping us find new homes for these sweet puppies!!! They have their forever families!
God is good...all the time.
Thanks to those who showed interest (over 27 messages inquiring personally about them), thanks to those who shared my post to others, and thanks for the kind references and sharing your experiences with previous puppies from our farm. We cherish our "Golden" family!!!! God bless you all !

I must be so gullible. (For those of you who know me, no comment) I took people's word that they were coming to pick up a puppy without taking a deposit. Not once, not twice, but FIVE times. Either no show, no response (so rude) or last min pull out of coming. It makes me very sad.
So now, I am still trying to find homes for a girl and a boy. They are 3 mo old. Great with big dogs, great with kids.
I love them and will keep them if I have to, but I would really like to find another home for them. Please pm me if sincerely interested. I have dad and mom pics too. Thanks in advance.

Lainey wants to share that this girl needs to find her forever home. She was chosen, but then the person no-showed. She was born 6/24/24. Fun loving, kid loving, adventurous, beautiful red golden. AKC registerable, vet checked, first shots, dewormed, weaned and ready to rehome...maybe with YOU!

It has been just wonderful to get to know these new puppy adopters. I have made lasting friendships over the years and hope this year to continue more friendships. God bless each of you!!!
