White Wine update. This is the cat found on the streets in Edwardsville with a huge gash in his neck.

Look how much better this looks in just 7 days. He will still need to wear the dreaded cone for another 7 days then hopefully the staples can get removed.

Thank you to Nicole Kogan and Laura Lynn Warren at Horseshoe Lake Animal Hospital, Resort & Salon for all their wonderful care ❤️ trying to get White Wine healed up.

We are still looking for a rescue tag or someone to provide him with an indoor home.

We are still looking for some help to cover his bills as well. The first visit was a little over $700 and today was another $55. He will need to return one more time at a min to get his staples out so his entire bill will be approximately $850. Any donation amount helps.

We appreciate the shares, comments and donations for Mr Pancakes leg amputation next week. With the additional donations towards his surgery we were also able to help White, White Wine 🍷 😀 We are still $288 short of covering his bill at Horseshoe Lake Animal Hospital. If we can get each follower on our page to be able to spare $5 and we can cover Mr Wines bill and probably cover the remaining $1500 we owe Horseshoe. We are planning another shot clinic later this month so we will be purchasing shots and microchips for that event. Can you spare $5?

Sad but true!

Update: we finally caught the elusive kitten last evening. We may have been able to help several young kittens off the streets but there are so many unaltered strays in this neighborhood, its only a matter of weeks before the next batch is running around, 😥 😔 😟

We are still trying to capture the last kitten from the group of kittens where we found the orange one with the ruptured eye.

This is what we trapped this morning. It's a baby but not the baby we are looking for. However when I went back to the car for another can of wet food for baiting I came back to this!

Time to bring out the big guns to get this one. And we need support to TNR blocks here in Woodriver. There are cats everywhere.
