Your pup’s scheduled appointments are no different than your personal appointments. Be on time! I’m also a groomer trying to coordinate dogs coming, going, boarding and juggling personal time too. Anything over 15 mins late without notification, we would have to reschedule with a $20.00 no show fee.
Hopefully you all get the point…… help me help these pups enjoy their visit at Boujee. ❤️

This group is real. I personally delivered meals to the locals a couple weeks ago through this organization. Like, share, donate and most of all PRAY.

Last night, I got this message. I also was contacted by a mother with four children, the youngest of whom is Three Months old. The mother and her kids have been in a hotel on FEMA vouchers. The man from the text below is living in his damaged home or his vehicle so he can care for other living things.

WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA IS NOT OKAY.

The FEMA hotel vouchers were set to expire on the 4th. IN TWO DAYS. Are now extended to the 11th. It snowed all day yesterday and will snow again tonight. That is, unless it gets Too Cold To Snow. As I write this, it is 32 degrees. Tomorrow morning when we wake, it will be 15. FIFTEEN DEGREES and people are living in the broken shells of their former homes, uninsulated campers, their cars, and tents. If you don’t have land, even a camper won’t solve post-storm homelessness. If you have land and got a camper, you need insulation and heated water hoses to not have pipes burst.

This is an Emergency situation that is Not in the news. Every person up here knows at least one person approved for FEMA assistance but at a level that won’t cover even a quarter of their expenses. Every person also knows at least six people who were denied for FEMA beyond the $750 basic payment.

I posted yesterday how blessed I felt. Today, I feel scared. Terrified for those in my community who are facing bankruptcy long term and freezing to death in the short term. SHARE OUR STORIES!!! Make this known: WESTERN NC IS NOT OKAY.

I am including our amazon list here only because it helps us get life saving essentials to those we serve. But my bigger plea here is DONT STOP TELLING EVERYONE THAT WE ARE NOT OKAY. My volunteer spots for folks to deliver food were fullllll through Thanksgiving. After today, theyre nearly empty. The time between the holidays is difficult for people to leave their lives and come help us, I get it. But people WILL DIE without continued volunteerism and donations- both financial and of live-saving goods.
