Hey there,
It’s been awhile since we updated this thing.
We are still here and busier than ever!

As we enter our third year in business, we never thought that we would be providing service to almost 600 dogs weekly!

Thank you so much to all of our amazing clients for the support you have and continue to show us.

With the recent melt, we are being inundated with requests for service. We will get back to everyone who has sent a request, we just need to make sure that our small team is able to take care of our current clients first and foremost!

We intend to get everyone booked by next weekend as long as any measurable snowfall holds off for us!

As some of you know, Maggie and I come from a large family. As detailed in the link, the past year has been extremely challenging for my parents and they have unfortunately received no help from the VA or the state. My father has a great new job but he will not see a paycheck for awhile and the debt is ever increasing. This fundraiser was started in hopes of providing some relief until they can catch back up. I know times are tough for a lot of folks but any extra help would be greatly appreciated.

This weekend we welcomed a new member to our pack! Finn is two years old and needed a little more consistency in his life to become the best boy he can be!

Today was his first day as my co-pilot and while he isn’t the best at giving directions and he fell asleep on the job multiple times, I think he has a future with us!!!

If you’re on Shane’s route, make sure you get to say hi to him!

Every Sunday, I get to hangout with this guy for a little while at Hazel Park Animal Control Shelter.

His name is Vigo, he’s 1.5 years old and he has been at the shelter for waaaaayyy too long due to no fault of his own. He’s extremely friendly to both dogs and humans, he’s a cuddler, he is always happy, easy-going and he has a big permanent smile on his face. Vigo’s perfect home would have a doggie sibling and a large yard to run in but he would also be happy with someone who will take him on adventures and play with him every day.

There are plenty of dogs in shelters who have a lot of things to work on, but beyond continuing his basic training, Vigo is not one of them and he is going to make a family very happy one day.

Lots of great news for Paulie!
He had his post-op check-up yesterday and he’s all cleared to play with his brother again! Everything has healed up nicely and he’s got the cutest wink!

We also got a call from the surgeon regarding his biopsy and it turns out that the glaucoma was caused by a prior injury(likely a cat scratch). This is GREAT news because the original thought was that his other eye would be at risk if it was a hereditary condition.

Thank you again to all of those who chipped in for Paulie’s surgery, he now has a long pain-free life to look forward to, even if it is with one eye! 😉

Today we installed a brand new waste station at one of ours and our pups favorite neighborhood hangouts, Detroit Fleat just in time for patio season with the pups!

We will be checking the station regularly to make sure the bags stay stocked and the can doesn’t overflow!!!

$50 One-Time Clean Fundraiser!

This little guy is Paulie, he has been my family’s dog for 7 years and is a sweet little boy! Last week, Paulie quickly developed very high pressure in his eye.

After a couple of vet visits this week, it has been determined that removal will be the best option to provide him with relief, while also giving us the ability to biopsy the eye so we can take proper steps to protect his good eye in the future.

The vet visits and surgery total a little over $4000. That just isn’t in my family’s budget as they have already had a very trying year, so I will be doing whatever it takes to make sure Paulie gets the treatment he needs.

I’ve decided to offer a special 30 minute spring clean for $50, which is $30 off of our minimum fee, to help raise some extra cash.

This clean will cover up to 30 minutes of scooping. While we cannot guarantee that we will get everything in that time frame, 30 minutes is typically enough time for us to get 5-10 gallons of waste removed from an average sized yard.
If you want us to continue cleaning after the 30 minutes, the normal rate of $15 for every 15 minutes would apply.

A limited number of these cleans will be available and most will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis for weekends through the month May.

Thanks to all of your incredible support, we are continuing our amazing growth and off to a busy start to the year.

We have added a couple more techs which will allow for more flexibility on service days and allow us to help even more folks.

With that being said, we would like to take this time to help out some folks who might be having a tough start to the year by donating our time to clean some yards.
