Everyone wants to homestead…

Until you have a two week old baby stepped on by momma.

Until you have to go into your (paying) job and you worry about the baby in your bathtub all day.

Until you’re standing in the aisle of the feed store adding every single ni**le they have to your buggy because you have a ni**le-picky kid.

Until you’re doing middle of the night bottles to make sure his blood sugar levels don’t drop.

Until you’re explaining to your boss and coworkers at your big girl job that you need to leave to tend to your (goat) kid.

Until you’re driving yourself crazy on Google and goat pages trying to do what’s best for him.

The lifestyle is hard and it isn’t for everyone, but we love it and I know our kids will one day too. 🐐🐓🦆
